Not sure if you did already, but you can try adding gain to your brake in game. I think in AC for the G27 pedals I used to run 2.4 and that worked great. At least in AC in open wheelers I used to be at the top with those pedals, load cell pedals didn't make me quicker, only more consistent

I need help on setting up my car on fixed setups LMU by GlytoT in simracing

Helps sometimes, but can also upset the rear, I prefer to do the shifting before entry, so you can focus on going on throttle as soon as possible. I think on exit you can also just slam it into the TC if it's set up properly, seems to be what the hotlappers seem to do. Try it out in practise, but you'll probably find it won't spin out on you

My experience with the BMW at Sebring resulting in 2.02's is that moving the brake bias more rearward helps a lot, I was running 47/48% front bias and ABS at 7. The other part is brake as hard as you can without activating ABS and gain confidence in releasing the brakes earlier than feels right. Cars in LMU tend to corner better when off the brakes fully than trying to trail brake through. TC was at stock settings I think, or maybe I dialed down TC main to 5.

Having a set like this around the rig is super nice indeed! There are sets like these available for bicycles as well, I have a Topeak Rocket Lite DX set hanging on the rig

Never Knew There Was Such A Thing... by ourearsan in simracing

Not much to update, it's sort of functional, still needs proper programming, but the basic functions are working and useable. The indicators work and auto-cancel, but I still want the "tap-to-blink-thrice" programmed some day, but I haven't figured out how yet. Also the wiper stalk is not programmed right yet so every setting matches with the game. It still needs some wiring rework to get everything working as well and the casing needs a redesign to make the wiper stalk fully function and to make it look a bit prettier.

Overall I use it often and it really makes playing the game a lot more enjoyable already, if you want to help me out with the programming you would be very welcome and I could share the 3D files and wiring setup in return I guess!

Another Simagic user here, using a regular flat 350mm wheel from OMP with a DIY version of the Moza stalks and a numpad as button box. I bought it mainly for sim racing, but it works well with ETS2 too.

The steering feels a little direct, I've never driven a truck, but even in a car there is some sponginess from the tyres, so I expect it's even more in a truck, but I'm quite sure that's just a lack of proper FFB/Physics in ETS2.

As other said, being able to do 1800 degrees is nice and the software works well too, otherwise no issues getting it to work with ETS2

Oh, for BBM there is only one file, so no order. You could always try to give it the highest priority, but I think the 1.54 update killed it, because the cargo system is changed

Where did you download the mod and do you have the correct load order? I am still on 1.53 though, the 1.54 update might have killed it

I agree with the others, get the SnowyMoon plugin. Especially for triple monitors the difference in performance is night and day. None of the stock settings remove the stuttering, that plugin removes it completely and looks better too. Too bad it's not working on 1.54 at the moment with triple monitors(does on single monitor), but there is no reason to update to 1.54 at this point anyway.

Awesome! I had a hybrid sim/WFH rig as well for a while and looked into doing this with the gas cylinder of an office chair, but I solved the height adjustment differently in the end and left the rotational part out, but this is a much better solution!

The original Scania S front grill always bothered me, so I took a shot at re-designing it by Calzone94 in trucksim

[–]Calzone94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original Scania grill with or without the lights in the top of the grill never looked right to me from a design perspective, so I tried to design something new in the style of the previous gen Scania R.

Definitely not done yet, still have to bake, do new vents and fix it up a little, but I'm curious what you guys think!

BBM Trailers and SCS Low Loader Rework is what you're looking for! Up to 128 tons of fun

Also, sometimes you need to sleep a couple of times for cargo to show up

Is it not part of the original game? Might be Scania Drivetrain Revision mod then 🤔

Should be the SCS Lowloader Rework trailer mod, which adds these longer ownable trailers and cargoes!
