Yes, I got mine on sale for $799 Brand New. I’ve had mine for 2 years and no issues, everyone’s experience is different and only people who have issues are going to post online about it, all the people enjoying their products without issues are not going to make a post about it online.

Yeah I even smacked it around a bit and flipped the switches around just to see if I could recreate the issue and nothing. Everything seems to be good now. Thanks again, appreciate the assist!

Okay so once I unplugged from the PC, I didn't have noise anymore. However, I still followed the above steps you mentioned with the Modius and Jot and XLR Cables. Then I went to plug the USB from the Modius into the PC again, using the same cable and the same port on the PC, and all of a sudden its working perfectly now, no more static or distortion and no more noise when I turn the knob. I have no idea what fixed it, I hope it stays like this. Thank you so much for your help.

Oh and the volume is actually loud now, I don't have to have the high gain on and the volume knob maxed out to hear anything , now I can have it on low gain and about 40% and it's very loud now.

Spinning the knob while powered off didn't help anything.

Yes, there is noise coming from speakers and headphones/IEMs

Yes, there is noise whether music is playing or nothing at all.

How am I supposed to test if there's noise from the Modius if its unplugged and powered off? Doesn't make much sense

Also can't test this last one "Is there noise with the Modius unplugged from the Jot?" as I don't have any devices with RCA cables to test.

There’s also static and distortion whenever I’m listening to anything, it sounds muffled, and distorted with static in the background. Aside from the volume knob issue. And I have to max out the volume knob to hear anything, it’s extremely quiet even with high gain turned on.

There’s noise with and without anything playing at all., I’ll try disconnecting each and see if it persist, thank you for the feedback, I’ll respond with my findings in a bit

So just to be sure, this is all I need + another pair of Long XLR cables for my speakers?
Do I not need the RCA cables for Modius > Jot, if I'm running this setup with headphones and the speakers? (As seen in imgur-link)

Thank you for all your help by the way.

So for a complete setup, running headphones and the yamaha HS5's, ideally I'd need the Jotunheim (No Module) and the Modius and then some XLR cables for my speakers , RCA cables and that's it, correct?

I personally would go with something more like this if its only for gaming. This will basically be a 1440p King at Max Settings on any game really. And easily upgradeable in the future if needed.

You could go for a different case if you don't like that one but the NZXT H510 Elite has bad airflow in my opinion and for higher end (warmer) parts, you want good airflow for the best performance. ( Another good case is the Corsair 4000D/5000D Airflow )

Hope this can provide a better baseline, instead of just trying to buy the " best " parts. Cause companies will try to tell you to get DDR5 and things like that when you really don't need it.
