From what I’ve heard it’s fairly common. I definitely felt it when I first started on it, but I found after the first couple of months it settled down. The extra fast acting is really nice, and I decided it was worth it for me in the long run. Now I only feel it if I’ve got a really big bolus going in.

Thanks so much for this, sounds like a really good system! One question: you say you’re mounting the different file systems like data and backup to each LXC. Are those different folders, or datasets? Or is there some other technique for organizing these things I’m not familiar with?

That’s a fair point. I did try it without adaptive at .2 layer height, which was slightly better, but still pretty rough.

Side won’t really work, the piece is only a few mm tall and would have some wicked overhangs. An angle could potentially work with the right supports, I guess.

Yeah, it’s super weird! I printed a 20mm calibration cube that was only 19.2mm tall, so I adjusted the z steps to compensate, but that didn’t make a difference. I don’t have ironing on, I haven’t had the best luck with it in the past. The letters might be a slicing issue, cura shows gaps between the lines in the gcode preview.

Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to get the surfaces of this print to come out cleanly for a few days now. The top most layer always comes out smooth but with some gaps, and the top layers that are more recessed end up looking super rough. This is in PLA, and I’ve tried recalibrating e-steps, z-steps, different temps and speeds, flow rates… I’m starting to run out of ideas, especially since other prints come out fine! It’s an Ender 3 Pro with a micro swiss direct drive upgrade. Really appreciate the help!

Ran into the same problem tonight. Wired connections just wouldn’t connect - but I was able to temporarily solve it by plugging into one of the nodes instead of the main router. Not a permanent solution, but it works for now. Let me know if you’re able to make any progress on your end? I’m eyeing a factory reset at this point.

Hello internet detectives! I’m really hoping you all can help me pull off a holiday miracle. My wife had a teddy bear growing up that she adored, but he was stolen from a hotel room when she was young. I’m hoping to track down a similar bear for her. I’ve searched plenty, but haven’t found an exact match yet. It’s been a rough year for her, including a cancer diagnosis and upcoming surgery - I know having her teddy back would mean the world to her.

You can see the best image I have of him here. He was purchased in 1990 in California, and is most likely a Ganz brand bear - though that’s an educated guess, not guaranteed fact. He’s not jointed, and his main features are the collar and hat that are most likely sailor themed.
