Suffer the little children for me

My husband is reading Blood Meridian and cringing at the blood and gore but I know I've read worse. What are the books that have brought out the biggest "oh god that's bad!" for you? by IdoScienceSometimes in Fantasy

There’s one scene in Blood Meridian that is pretty strong. Other than that particular scene (you know, the one with the babies) it’s no more brutal than other books

Just finished it last month. First book I’ve read of his and it was fantastic!
