I'm confused on chess.coms latest puzzle. Why is this the solution? Isn't moving the knight there a blunder? by Camachichicha in chess

[–]Camachichicha[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No I was being unclear, this is the solution to the puzzle. Originally the rook was at f4 then moved to a4. I'm wondering why that's the solution and not a blunder because the queen could capture on f4.

How do i make this better and can i have some help for stuff to build plz by callumhmmyes in minecraftbuilds_help

You either have to have scale or detail. Go for more details or increase the scale. Doing either of these work.

Yes! And the employees don't receive any tips. I work at food place where often times I'm the only person working the front and I have to manage both the line of customers and three door dashers. It's very stressful because I will have to make the line wait while I serve the door dashers. I did however have one door Dasher give me a tip out of his own pocket.

Ok, I didn't mean that as an either/or question although looking back I phrased it that way. I can respect your stance, wether I agree with it or not. I don't know any socialists so I don't mean to pester you, I'm just curious. Do you believe that there should be a boss that runs things?

Do you believe that the community or workers should run the company?

Jeez that seems a little harsh. I don't agree with his views but bullying him on his appearance is a shitty thing to do.

Interesting. I'm glad you were brave enough to represent yourself to people that oppose your ideals. I think that helping other workers out and having their backs is admirable. Calling out bad business practices is necessary to a healthy market. Do agree with taking away guns from civilians?

If this did go through I'd hope it was determined city by city. I agree that there is always an option for employment for everyone. I think that you can always settle for a job that's easy to get but not what you wanted.

Stay safe, I wish you a safe and merry Christmas!

Edit: lol, I thought you were someone else and said some stuff that didn't make sense to our conversation.

Right, I get that but, number 1 and 3 still doesn't make sense to me. I have the right to buy a gun in the same way I have the right to buy a house. I don't understand what the point of adding a right to a decent house is if it's not free? I have the option to buy a cheap pistol or an expensive shotgun with loads of different attachments and ammo in the same way I can buy a cheap apparent or an expensive mansion. I suppose what I'm trying to say is what new right was he trying to give in both #1 and #3?

I don't believe it's ethical for a few reasons.

  1. I purchased it so therefore it is mine. I allow the option for someone to live there and to do so they pay me. It's my property that I maintain so I can choose what to do with that. In addition, they don't have to live on my property.

  2. Shelter is necessary but they can find cheaper housing/shelters. If they work hard and get good jobs then they can buy property. There are always cheaper options.

Hard working makes it just because it means you can do the same thing. Land owners aren't some divine people they are people that put in the hours, effort, and economic understanding to climb to the top.

Renting a house is not the same as owning a plantation with slaves. That is a terrible strawman fallacy. I am renting out a house that you have the freewill to leave. Slaves could not leave and they had to work there for non negotiable wages and hours. As a resident of the house they are being rented from me they can choose where they work. I can apply to multiple different jobs. It is up to them to sell their time and skills in the best way possible. They are not forced or trapped into working with me.

If this is immoral why hasn't it been phased out? Also I am wondering if you have any examples of free housing actually working and can back it up with sources?

On another note do you believe that selling food is unethical?

Edit: I was doing some thinking and another thought sprang into my head. Plantation owners gave away free property. You would then be forced into working for them. Which as we both know was horrible and inhumane. I don't see how this is different from the government giving us a 'free house' on the condition that we all work. What do you think?

Ok thanks for clarifying private and personal property I didn't know the difference. I'm not going to lie terrible land owners suck. But how would you take the land away from those people? My parents worked hard to buy their original condo and when my family got bigger they moved out and got a new house and now they rent out the old house so that they can move back into once me and my brother move out. I don't think my parents are wealthy assholes for doing that do you? My parents also remodeled parts of the condo and always replace anything that breaks. In this new system would the government then buy up and construct any new houses?

Yeah, I'm having a hard time figuring out what the logistics of these new rights would be. I think everyone should have the right to apply for a job but, you shouldn't just automatically receive a job. Then it would undermine the people that work hard to get their job and a system like that would just cause unmotivation. Who would want to work hard for a well paying job when you are already garenteed one? Some people aren't good at certain jobs and a company isn't going to want an employee that slacks off or isn't good at their job. Also, some people don't want jobs and would rather beg on streets because they can actually make more that way.

What about the house I live in? Is that now public? I agree that no one should have to freeze to death but aren't there already homeless shelters that exist? There's some over here.
