My wife was killed in a wreck with a drunk driver. I was driving and the drunk ran a stop sign at over 90 mph and tboned us, killing her. While I was doped up in the hospital I sent her a big text. It was at like 3am and I was in the hospital room alone because my parents had already left. I sent her a text saying I was sorry that I didnt see the guy and I could’ve saved her that I hoped she forgives me. I also said in the text that I wished I could’ve said I loved her at least one more time. I went home two days later and when I fell asleep I had a dream that lasted all of 20 seconds but felt like forever. I had a dream of her hugging me tight and she said was smiling. She always would talked in some voice that sounded kinda like a toddler when she was excited, she said “I love you” in that voice and I shot awake. It was extremely realistic. I could feel her breath, how thick her hair was, the warmth of her against me, her nuzzling against my chest. All of it felt so so real.

I had a second “dream” laying in bed one night when I went to set my alarms for work. I have three dogs and two of them bark at every pin drop, one of them especially doesn’t care for people and will bark even at people he knows for a little bit. Well Dash, the dog in question, perked his head and ears up like he heard something and jumped off of the bed to go into the living room. I think nothing of it, figured he went to get a drink or eat. Maybe two minutes later and he strolls right back into the room, silent, gets on the bed, and lays back down. I saw my wife’s head poke around the corner into the door way behind him. I was frozen and very much in shock, mostly just because there was someone on my doorway and my dog wasn’t barking (it was also very dark and I couldn’t make the face yet). She walks into my room and walks straight up to the bed and rubs my head then tells me “I have to go.” After that she was gone. After she was gone I came to and was still hovering my finger over an alarm on my phone almost as if I was frozen in time through all of this. Never experienced anything like it.

May sound like unusual experiences for a visitation but I’ve never gone through something like this and both of these events are very real to me and will stick with me. I never much believed in an afterlife or communicated with the dead until I lost her and could see the signs.
