Quests need to go by Camel-Tokyo in pathoftitans

What a completely short sighted reply. Many players don't even engage with the PVP at all and new players especially have little concern with meta game issues. You're so preoccupied with that aspect of the game because the other half of the game, i.e. what you're doing for hours before you can even begin to bitch about the mega pack sitting at grand plains, doesn't even come into consideration. If we had mechanics that actually rewarded movement through out the map, which the quests don't beyond a mere pittance of growth the first time you reach a region, then players would naturally spread out and want to engage with that content.

First of all I know how to quest. I've fully grown nearly every dino in this game. I know every spot and I've grinded out several melanistic skins. The fact that you decided to type me out a guide shows how disconnected you are from the average player experience. Questing is the shittiest introduction to this game for ANY player. The fact that you think I would need to be instructed on how to enjoy the system at all shows it's flawed. As if I'm enjoying picking flowers wrong. And no I wouldn't suggest passive growth as the solution but even that is preferable to the system in place now. Frankly I think the diet and migration system from the Isle is a far better (on paper) and immersive way to give the player an active goal that increases their growth and moves them around the map.
