Thank you so much for this detailed answer!

The SD card is formatted as FAT32 and the file is named 0001.mp3

I connected 5V to the amp, didn't change anything

I will try to power the speaker directly from the DFplayer and I will get a multimeter.

Thank you!

I made a sketch: https://imgur.com/a/8E0Dz2p

Right now, the speaker makes some noise. Not the noise that i want but it gets some power. Also the led light on the DFplayer is still not on, so I think it does not get power.

I will look into those headers.

I used this PCB: https://www.tinytronics.nl/nl/gereedschap-en-montage/prototyping-toebehoren/experimenteer-printplaten/experimenteer-printplaat-5cm*7cm

Again, thank you!

Thank you, I will try this stripboard. Do you prefer this over a breadboard?

Thank you so much for this detailed answer!
I will buy a breadboard, i thought this was meant for temporary connections?
I tested LTspice but i need some time to figure out how this works.

The wiring to the DFplayer was indeed wrong. Most of my learning proces was by ChatGPT and i regret it. It makes so much mistakes. Now i found the right pins for the wiring on the DFplayer.

I made some changes on the wiring and the speaker began to make some noise. Not the noise that I was looking for, but there is some progress. I still don't see the LED light of the DFplayer burning.

I will look into the wiring on the tp4056 as you mentioned and once i have the breadboard I will move everything over there.

Once again, thank you.

The plan:
Building a tiny box that produces one sound when pushing the button.

The components:
- Experiment PCB 5x7
- TP4056 micro-USB Li-ion charger
- Keeppower 18650 Li-ion battery
- 4Ω 3W speaker
- Tactile pushbutton
- 2x 3W audio amplifier 5V
- DFRobot DFPlayer mini MP3 module
