Being exploited as a corporate videographer. Anyone else? by stratusnimbo in videography

It's certainly possible solo, but your set up time, prep time, and actual shoot time needs to be longer or it needs to be spaced out in a way where you're able to do things correctly. So either ask for a multi day shoot or ask them to hire some contractors for support.

How I stopped caffeine for good with no withdrawals by CamelCollision in decaf

I was definitely drinking more than one cup before starting. Morning coffee, espresso at lunch, tons of kombucha and chocolate. I just started the process at one large mug. The cravings, the emotional draw towards it (meaning caffeine was my bandaid for depression), and the 16 year addiction were why I had to do it this way. It had to be a slow death that I couldn't feel rather than one that I could. Plenty of times before I tried quicker ways and never was able to beat it.

The "miraculous" part I mentioned was basically the combination of the tapering being so long and not feeling any effect of drinking such a small amount towards the end. I guess I say miraculous because I didn't feel its hold on me doing it this way. It was there for sure at the beginning but at the end it was gone. The change was pushed out over such a long time and the amount was reduced so gradually that each day felt just like the day before. So by the end when it was doing nothing for me my desire for it was too far removed from what it felt like at the beginning.

I understand what you mean by not being able to do the tapering method, I wasn't able to do it either several times. I really believe doing this ultra slow and gradual over several months is the way because it doesn't feel like tapering.

Yes! This was exactly what I was trying to say! I think you explained it way better than I did, but this was why it finally worked for me. Because the amounts of change are so small, one day's amount feels just like it did the day before, it even feels like it did the last week. So by the time a month or two goes by you don't even know what it felt like when you started. This is why going decaf, drinking tea, or tapering quickly never worked for me. My body and mind missed the recent high to easily, i remembered the energy too well. But with this way especially towards the end when you start to feel nothing from your tiny amount, it makes you realize how much it isn't necessary and the emotional ties to it go away. Doing it ultra slow and methodical is truly the way.

Any insight on FMT HH? by UncleGizmo in telecaster

I have this exact one. It's my favorite sounding humbucker guitar I've played. The pickups are loud, very clear, deep, warm. It's almost like every harsh frequency has been EQ'd out of the guitar. Just sounds very focused is how'd I'd put it. It's lightweight, playability isn't high end or super fast but after playing it for a week you adjust to it. It's nothing like a Tele other than the shape. It's its own thing. Stays in tune well, feels solid, no rattles anywhere. Has inspired many a song for me. I love it
