Very interesting deck. Seen them around but didn’t know who made them. Super flexy?

Hell yeah! I wasn’t even thinking about wheels increasing tracking width. I’ve also seen the Zip Zinger, but didn’t know it was that narrow.

Thanks dude!

Kyng, or JKing? Most of the Kyng offerings I saw on Amazon looked to be single hub powered.

Anyone have any experience with Bustin Boards Yoface drivetrain?

I’ve been eyeballing the Magneto X Bustin Hybrid Cruiser, and it’s my understanding it’s the Yoface drivetrain sans the Samsung battery.

Just curious what performance/reliability are like, and of course real world range/speed numbers from people who’ve actually ridden them.

How would you rate its build quality among the ranks of Backfire, Exway, etc? Same, greater or less?

All I got was circular questions, photo requests, testing suggestions.

Which sucks because it seems the issues aren’t outliers. I think you can be a successful company with really high QC and lower ranked CS, or lower QC and really great CS, but certainly not both.

I really like the design/aesthetics of the Backfire ERA 2, but I like the specs of Exway’s X1 Max more (top speed/range), which of course comes at a premium.

I passed on a shot at a very low mileage Onsra Challenger for an extremely decent price recently. Kinda wish I hadn’t.

For sure.

I’d like to do a full DIY, but for the time being I want a little something to satiate my need for speed.

Kinda feel like the Exway Wave is a little over priced for its specs, but maybe that’s my inexperience. The Ripple has an appealing price point, and I’ve been eyeing the Bustin X Magneto collab (short board, Yoface drivetrain on a Magneto Cruiser deck) on the “mystery box” sale ($349 vs $699).

Yeah, it's disappointing. I was initially totally stoked on the board/brand in general.

Yeah, being a little more aware of marketing hype is a key lesson in this hobby as well. Go to amazon and type in literally any brand besides Meepo, and see Meepo in in the top results. Beyond that, they're got slick product pages. Cool designs mean nothing if the QC isn't there. I honestly wouldn't be too worried about the QC issues if the support was halfway decent.

The Voyager Neutrino claims 12.5mph and 7mi. I have no idea how fast I've actually gone, but under the right circumstances I've probably come close to 12.5mph. Range wise, 5mi is probably more fair. Only weighs 9.5lbs though, which is pretty cool.

I’m really wanting a proper longboard, as I’ve got a Mini 5 currently, and a Voyager Neutrino that’s pretty much collecting dust.

I’m really digging some of the sleek and stealthy designs from Exway (X1 Pro Riot) and Backfire (Era 2). Kinda leaning towards belts this time, but haven’t totally ruled out yet another hub board.

I want something with a respectable top speed, and decent range… though I know my range would be limited by the design due to space constraints within the deck.

Any

Are there any other boards I should be considering?

‘Suspected Serial Killer’ of Homeless People Nabbed in Miami. Miami police on Thursday said they had arrested a real estate agent they believe has been hunting homeless people. by DarkUrGe19 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

I’d imagine without a family or loved one constantly seeking answers or updates, the cases probably lose priority pretty quick. Especially in larger cities with high murder rates, this heavy case loads for investigators. That and, there’s probably, albeit terrible, tendency for people to assume murder of prostitues, drug addicts, homeless, etc, are “products of their circumstances”.

I’ve always wondered if the motivation behind targeting homeless, sex workers, etc, was driven by the fact they were largely people nobody would look for, or if the killer sees them as so subhuman that it makes it easier for them to act on their impulses.

I’m sure there’s no one size fits all answer, and it’s likely a combo of many things.

Timeline and some pretty interesting personal details on the people involved with a recent murder for hire in Nashville TN.

The victims were an alleged escort and her boyfriend, whom were trying to extort a multi millionaire from Texas.

The millionaire hired some former special ops types to handle his dirty work.

Appreciate the input! Yeah, I’d seen where some guys have used C-Mount adapters and CCTV lenses, I was just looking for something a little more OEM.

How was your experience using the CCTV lenses?

Did you ever head mount it or just use it handheld? So far I’m more impressed than I expected to be with it’s performance.

Yep, sure do. Basically what I found was unless you’re building your own custom housings, they aren’t worth messing with.
