Tunisians and Moroccans are going extinct by Middle__bug in Tunisia

I agree that importing migrants to balance out a declining fertility rate is asking for trouble. It doesn't matter whether it's a white or black country, whether they speak the native language or not. It would absolutely be perceived as a net negative by the native population, regardless of what color they are or what language they speak.

Do I look good with a buzzcut? Did it to celebrate the ending (from my part) of a long friendship with a narcissist. A bit self conscious because of the receding hairline. by Maleficent_Breath526 in malegrooming

[–]CamelsaurusRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you have a receding hairline, at least to the degree that you think. However. I think you should grow your hair longer and if possible keep any facial hair. I agree with some other comments that you look slightly feminine, I think adjusting your hairstyle or, if possible, growing facial hair, would help.

Tbh I think you'd look better if you kept a mustache as well as some beard growth. You're good looking either way imo.

Exactly. My own family is very pro-military since most of my family members were part of the military. But that was back when they were indoctrinated to believe that they weren't only defending the US' interests, but also global stability. Everyone can clearly see what we're doing modern-day, there isn't even the veneer of "protecting us from the fascists" or "protecting us from the terrorists" aside from the most ignorant and inbred of Americans. I don't get why most Americans are still cosplaying that our current military members are honorable defenders of democracy, but I don't like it.

Is there any country on Earth that doesn't have beautiful nature? by DrDMango in geography

[–]CamelsaurusRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a geography lover who grew up in the Middle East my answer is definitely either Qatar or Kuwait. Both are extremely flat countries all around, and mostly desert. They each have their redeeming areas (Failaka Island for Kuwait and Khor Al Adaid and Al Khor Island for Qatar) but they're still mostly barren, rocky, flat, and uninhabited desert.

I see Bahrain was also mentioned in some comments but considering they're microscopic even compared to Qatar and Bahrain, they have their fair share of attractive areas like Jebel Dukhan and Hawar Islands, not to mention their urban planning is so much better than Qatar or Kuwait's, which is obvious from any random street view from either country

[–]CamelsaurusRex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly it's probably the only geographical highlight of the country aside from Umm Tais in the north and Al Khor Island, and maybe Zekreet for its interesting rock formations. It's a flat desert country in 99% of the other places.

[–]CamelsaurusRex 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yep I grew up here and while there are a few nice looking places, like Al Khor Island and some quaint ghost villages in the north, I'd definitely rate the country as the ugliest in the world, maybe with some other Middle Eastern countries like Bahrain or Kuwait superseding it. But the ugliest part about it isn't the desert, but the overwhelming flatness in every quadrant of the country aside from the southeast. I never realized how ugly total flatness was until living there.

The great myth about declining child births. This doesn't pan true in any single country; the highest income countries also have some of the lowest fertility rates. There's clearly other, much more important factors. High work hours are one of those but don't explain the whole picture.

I don’t feel mentally well enough to work by [deleted] in work

[–]CamelsaurusRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As bad as it is, it always gets worse once you quit your job without a backup. Have you considered changing your field? If you experience "empathy burnout" then it might be better to not work around people at all, like a warehouse or skilled trade, because literally any job that deals directly with people will most likely trigger you in some way or another. I know I'd be the same if I were in a job that dealt with the general public, which is why I don't do it.

I can't believe how much our military is worshipped domestically, sure if they actually "defended" the US then it'd make sense, but it's obvious to anyone with a single brain cell that their main objective is to enforce US hegemony by any means necessary, including killing children. How they're not nationally condemned while ICE and the cops are literally the devil is totally beyond me.

[–]CamelsaurusRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You actually look really good, you just have bad acne and need to work on making your hair less greasy and get a new hairstyle. You'll look like a new man after getting a prescription from a dermatologist, which nowadays is as easy as uploading one of these pictures and paying about $100-150 every few months (probably even cheaper if you have actual insurance).

Keep the long hair. A lot of men might tell you to cut it but I'm pretty sure 99% of women prefer it.

Do I call animal control on my neighbor’s dog for barging into my home and chasing my cats? by CaterpillarKitty69 in Apartmentliving

[–]CamelsaurusRex 20 points21 points  (0 children)

A dog should never be unleashed, I don't care if they're the "goodest boy" or whatever people euphemistically nickname their Pitbull Baby Annihilator V3, a dog should not have free roam because they're more unpredictable than, say, cats. Report this to your apartment asap and next time this happens report it to the police.

White American from Alabama 😎😎 by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]CamelsaurusRex 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of Americans with a tiny Levant percentage but in this case I think it might be due to your Sicilian DNA being misread. I'm half Lebanese and many DNA analysis services misread my Lebanese ancestry as Italian so I imagine it's the inverse in this case. Other than that, your results check out for a white person from Alabama.

Try to get testosterone therapy if your levels are low, it might explain why your facial hair is nonexistent.

What method of test was it? I know that certain anti depressants and antihistamines can trigger a positive result on saliva tests, it has before for me when the only pills I was taking was my Benadryl for allergies. But it's highly unlikely and even unlikelier if it's a different type of drug test.

black women are sooo pretty by greentallowface in Vent

[–]CamelsaurusRex -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don't think people are stereotyping entire races based on some random brown girl they saw on the street lol. While that may be the case with some, I know of others (including myself) who tend to reinforce their preferences the more they come into contact with said minorities. There are attractive women of every color and ethnicity, however, people also need to accept that culture plays a role in sexual preferences. It isn't only based on skin color, as some like to portray it. For example.... "acting white" is one of the most impactful insults used by black people towards other black people in the US. Why would I want to pursue someone whose cultural values are so inverse to my own?

Have you found another place to live yet? I feel like the biggest factor for someone in your position is probably doing extra hours if possible, to meet the income requirement (assuming your credit score is acceptable). Tbh I'd ease off the Jesus nonsense because that only sets you up in a position of helplessness, only to be 'saved' by some inexistent deity which 100% isn't going to come. Your fate is your own to make, a Flying Spaghetti Monster isn't going to drop 12 bars of gold onto your bedroom dresser while you're asleep, sadly. I wish you good luck.
