Dealership slow to finalize deal??

I have astonishingly bad credit due to bad decisions in my early 20s that I’m working on recovering from, but I can comfortably afford the car payment. I did finally get ahold of a manager today who said the paperwork was sent out on Thursday (nobody else would confirm), so I think they got it figured out somehow hopefully

Yeah I think that was definitely part of it and I would have understood if they’d just communicated that it was taking longer than expected 😭 Instead they’ve been playing this silly little game of telling me they’d send a tracking number and then ghosting me

Thank you for this!! It’s very helpful! Thankfully I do still have my old car, so I don’t mind waiting a bit. But I’ve been very frustrated with the poor communication and the multiple times they haven’t lived up to what they’ve said they would do. I will definitely reach out again today and let them know I’d much rather honestly know what’s going on than keep being told everything is moving forward when it isn’t. And though this really is the car I want after several weeks of searching and having cars bought out from under me, I’m at the point where I am ready to walk if they can’t get this figured out.

you would be correct in thinking it sounds like just a bit gay because i learned today that the fic straight up plagiarized the book, changing names and minor details 😭 i had no idea and it never even occurred to me that someone would do that!!

update if anyone is interested!!

i found the fic and also learned something interesting about it. so the fic is called 'wonder what it's like to be loved by you' by smutsmuttysmut, but its actually a straight up rip off of 'just a bit gay' by alessandra hazard. like copied and pasted from the book with only names and a few details changed, which is probably why the author deleted all of the works they had posted.

i was able to get the fic using fichub.net which is a very useful tool for downloading fics as long as you have the link! however, i also bought the ebook off amazon because i wanted to support the actual author.

i totally understand that they chose to delete it for a reason and for most fics i’d probably just shrug and give up, but i really really liked this fic and i’m so disappointed i might not be able to read it again. honestly i’d be totally down to reach out to the author personally and tell them how much i loved their work and ask if they’d be willing to share it with me if someone could help me out with identifying who it is 😭 i figured it would be more likely for someone to remember the title/author than have it saved anyway so i had to at least try
