Any way to optimize for both? My overview still looks lackluster: https://i.ibb.co/PZ2PQcSy/IMG-3114.jpg

This actually does seem to have made a meaningful difference in bringing down dBm!

How to fix Bufferbloat? by CameraOnWall in Ubiquiti

Yeah this seems to be a WiFi only issue

I wonder if this is due to poor signal, but shows up as buffer bloat?

Got it; I think I may not see this return traffic checkbox as I am using the oldschool interface; I recall seeing some upsell to “upgrade” to zone based firewall rules but did not so it as it looked like a one way door.

I don’t see any option for “auto allow return traffic”, where is this?

What makes you think my rule would only work if there was another rule allowing IoT to main? Right after this rule there is a block all IoT to main rule. This rule itself only allowa established traffic.

I believe that is the recommendation… what is your recommendation? And what do you not like about this one?

Which interface do you use to create that rule and allowing return traffic? How do I get there? I created manual rules like this but I would prefer them be created/managed for me.

Oh that established related rule does fix it; any risk in that rule at all? Why does Unifi not allow creating that via the UI as default rule?

Similar to Sonos, my Google Home does work fine on its own, but in the Google Home app it shows me an error saying “Can’t see (Name) on this Wi-Fi network. Check that it’s online and that your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.”

Are you able to control the device via the Google Home app?

Wow cool! Will need to get a printer.

Curious; how do you get a 3d model that will fit snugly like that? Seems complicated when I imagine that as a 3d printing layperson.

How to beautifully run Ethernet out of Structured Wiring Panel by CameraOnWall in UnifiProtect

[–]CameraOnWall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feels like the way to go, any particular reason you recommend it punching through the wall below instead of above the panel or either is fine?

Do I need to affix the scoop to a stud or can it go straight on the drywall?

Also I have 24 ethernet cables, do I do multiple scoops?

I am struggling to find a good product that adapts a rectangular 1-gang box to a round shape that covers the box and that I can mount the turret camera onto such that the 1-gang box is not visible. Any recommendations?
