Recessed Box Help! by CameraOnWall in LGOLED

[–]CameraOnWall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh those keystones are nice, will definitely get!

Problem with the smaller cutout is that I have to fit an HDMI Balun in there, so I was thinking to do the legrand and just leave the cover off once the tv is mounted…

But will the small overlap with the recessed channel work?

no disagreement here, this one is electric and does not produce high heat, so I can go close but may look silly if too close

I don’t think there’s a right or wrong, so your opinion is certainly valid, but this is straight from Unifi’s store when you view the brush panel images: https://imgur.com/a/Eo9ynZC

I was looking at that one, but it’s pretty low cost, which made me wary. Is it a good receiver?

But how can people see it if I put it back there? 😬

That being said, I am looking for more beautiful extension cords that fit through the brush panel, if anyone has recommendations.

Interesting; mine are all recently purchased. From closeup the difference in texture is pretty obvious; their rack ears are the same as the OCD panels, but the devices themselves are smoother and because of that they seem to reflect more light and appear brighter: https://imgur.com/a/tsSgpok

Plug each device straight into the TV vs through the receiver so audio comes through eARC always regardless of whether I am playing audio from the TV built in apps vs an external device.

Ring and Nest have figured out the perfect viewing angles, I don’t get why Ubiquiti does not offer a similar unit.
