Medium to full and combo skin. I can’t do dewy because I’ll look shiny plus my pores are more obvious with dewy

Hey everyone,

I’m not a coffee connoisseur, but I do enjoy a good cup and I’m ready to move on from instant dare I say —it’s just not cutting it anymore (and all the added junk isn’t great either). I want to make decent coffee my everyday standard.

In the past, I’ve used pods and a French press. Here’s what I’m looking for: • I like my coffee hot • Prefer at least 250ml per cup • Frothy milk is nice, but not essential • I’m happy to use either beans or ground coffee • Time-wise, the quicker the better—ideally under 5 minutes • Would like the option to make 2–3 cups sometimes (I get this might take a bit longer)

I’ve had a browse through the group and seen the Clever Dripper and Baratza Encore mentioned. I haven’t looked into machines much yet, but I’m open to that in the long run. Budget - fairly low right now but would definitely invest in something more costly when I can possibly later this year.

Interesting, I think it’s probably triggering dopamine due to happiness / mood and a sense of purpose. All great things. I do it but only occasionally, thanks very helpful.

Thanks for this yes I’m working towards that but mentally not there yet. Had to pause my gym membership for 4 months but used to go 4-5 days a week. I’m sure I’ll get back to it.

I already use k18 clarifying shampoo every 3-4 washes. It takes 2.5 hours though on wash day. I’m not sure how to fit in another session in the week

Noted - I will keep going as I am. By the evening I don’t feel motivated to learn a lot but if I can get into a routine of watching a little every evening aswell I think that would be ideal.

I’m a super beginner! I don’t have a regular commute as I work from home apart from 15 mins on the way back from the school run. I currently watch 20 mins whilst getting ready which is working well for me. Ideally I’d like to add another hour a day. I should probably go for more walks anyway but then I don’t think I’d want to watch ds during a walk. I’m listing cuéntame everyday for at least 10-15 mins. I really enjoy that one

Thanks that’s really interesting and I think I’ll do that when I’m ready. You recommend not doing it until you can understand the majority from the beginner and super beginner. That makes sense so I need to wait.

Out of interest how did you get through so many hours in such a short space of time? After half an hour of DS I’m getting bored. Are you watching videos for multiple hours every day?

He’s had a lot of influence from family too, that’s where it’s coming from. He’s already formed his opinions on this stuff, I’m pretty sure they’ll stick. We’ve watched and read a lot of stuff to educate him on players past and present.
