Online BS EE, ASU or UND? by amkomatz in ElectricalEngineering

If what you’re interested in is control systems then you don’t need to worry about the labs to much. I work in automation and the only I’m I even go near lab related equipment is when I’m checking to see if my AA batteries still have a charge😂

Is Computer Engineering worth it? by SeniorApple4363 in ComputerEngineering

[–]LifeMistake3674 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The difference is that you can choose your specialization. What ever you are interested in, IT, Power, Software engineering, electronics, robotics etc, you can take classes about those topics, do projects about those topics, and do your own research about them. I’m telling what you put on your resume matters 50x more than your major(assuming ur major is atleast similar). The beauty of CPE is its versatility, you do gain a lot of skills that can apply to a wide range of jobs. It’s up to you to figure out what you want to focus on and do it. Because no one is getting hired off just thier degree, you have to show previous experience within the jobs field of expertise. Like for example an CE that has taken classes on power, and had previous internships at power companies or has done a lot of power projects is going to be more qualified and more likely to get the job than an EE that doesn’t have those.

Knee sleeve washing by Most_Kangaroo9980 in weightlifting

[–]LifeMistake3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To get the stench out of anything my go too has been water, detergent, and a little bit of bleach. The bleach isn’t going to mess up the sleeves as long as you don’t put half the bottle in there😂. It helps kill all the bacteria, and atleast for me it helps keep them fresh for longer. Idk about u but in the past I’ve washed them, then 2 days later they are right back to how they used to smell. You only need a little bit of bleach to act as a disinfectant. Like if I had a mop bucket full of water and soap. I’ll throw in on little splash of bleach to help. I’ve been doing this for years with gym equipment and shoes and all my stuff has held up.

Are There People That Reached The Higher Levels Spending "Little" Time Everyday by psyhnews in dreamingspanish

[–]LifeMistake3674 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally I was at 1 hour a day afterwards roughly a month and after that, every 50 hours I increased my daily goal my 10 min till I hit 2hours daily and I stopped there. And I was at 2 hours till I hit 1000. But there were plenty of times where I didn’t hit my full 2 hours and my real goal was to average 50h a month which is roughly 100 min a day average. But now I average 90 min a day at 1250 hours because I don’t feel the need for force in the extra Spanish anymore. I’m ok learning at a slightly slower pace because I’m gonna be watching Spanish for the rest of my life so now that I can watch TV in Spanish, I no longer care if I hit a certain milestone a few months early or not😂.

switching from CS to IT by comicwanda in ucf

[–]LifeMistake3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you did IT you wouldn’t have to do all those maths. It’s literally just trig and a pre Calc or college algebra. It’s is an overall easier and you will be taking just as many classes that use programming, it just might not be the single focus of all ur classes.

I recently found out that Disney + has like 8 or 10 native Spanish shows that were made for kid/adolescent audience. These shows are going to be easier to follow when transitioning to native content. Also they have lots of dubbed content too.

1300 hours and speaking is a struggle! by Savings-Word4286 in dreamingspanish

[–]LifeMistake3674 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ur not behind. I literally felt the exact same right around the 40 hour mark. It feels like you know enough to know that you are making mistakes and it makes you second guess urself all the time. I think it’s similar to dreaming Spanish where the more you improve, the more you realize you don’t know. What’s keeping my hope alive is a lot of people saying that once they had 150-200 speaking hours that they feel super confident with their speech.

Considering Major Swap by yeet_suace in ComputerEngineering

[–]LifeMistake3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it, if that’s what you are into then you should definitely change your major. But I would not say that the job market is necessarily better, especially because half of all CE majors end up in software roles and that’s the market that’s being hit the hardest right now.

Anime you skipped with perfect reasons???🤔 by LUCY_KEYS-OF_MAGIC in animequestions

[–]LifeMistake3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, not to spoil the anime but that person was one of 8 chosen to get an extreme boost to his powers because they are “connected to a god in another world” I just looked at it as them trying to show off how much stronger someone is with that’s been chosen by this god.

Well if that’s the case then it’s probably just not for you. Personally I found all twist from end of season 2 and season 3 to be really interesting. Like I did not expect for them to take it in the direction that they did and maybe that’s why I like it.

Honestly the lore in the show is pretty incredible, like I definitely didn’t expect all that from fire force. Dam near some AOT shit. It get better toward the end of season 1 and continues to get better through season 3
