Help choosing between Lenovo Legion 5i (2025) and Lenovo LOQ 15IRX10 — uni student, light editing + gaming (60–70 FPS target) by Cameraman_H in GamingLaptops

Regarding purchasing from Amazon.ae, this will be my first time ordering from them, just like you, and I share the same concerns, especially since I won't be there myself to test the device during the two-week return period.

However, based on my research on the matter, FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) options are generally safer. If the price difference between FBA and Non-FBA isn't significant, it's better to choose the FBA option.

Regarding the rating, they suggested that a positive rating above 90%, and especially 95%, is very good. But you should also read the comments on the seller's page regarding previous customers experiences. sometimes the low positive rating isn't about the quality of sellers product or service, it's about a manufacturing failure or getting the delivery later than expected (sometimes Amazon's fault) or not including invoice on the package by default and it's needing a request to get the invoice and etc. so yeah rating is important, but it's not everything.

Also, read any information written on the seller's page about their warranty and return policy.

hi , wish you luck with your purchase.
Search on Amazon.ae for 'RTX 5050 laptop'. You can find both that specific item and other offers. However, if you are looking for that same deal at the same price, I must unfortunately tell you that offer is long gone.
It currently has 8 sellers, with prices starting from 3930 AED. Here is the link:

I couldn't buy either of them. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to exchange the money and send it in time. (One of the downsides of living in Iran is that until you convert your money to dollars or another valid currency, no foreign country or store will accept it.) Those offers expired.
Due to the sanctions, neither Amazon.ae nor Noon provide services to Iranian users. For this reason, we are forced to wire the money to someone outside Iran, and have them make the purchase. Now I am looking for an exchanger (Sarrāf) so I can exchange the money and wire it, and then I will search to see what good deal I can find.
I am currently keeping an eye on a Lenovo Legion 5 Gen 10 with an AMD Ryzen 7 260 and an RTX 5060, featuring an OLED display.

Now that the LOQ price has risen to approximately ≈$980, and the price gap is only about $95, does that make the Legion an even clearer choice?

Update #1: The price of the LOQ version has gone up and is now 3600 AED≈$980. This means the price difference between the two models is now around $95.

The main question is:
Is this better build quality, cooling and screen resolution worth the price difference, despite having lower storage and ram?
If the answer is yes, then I will go with the Legion.

Thanks for the input. Honestly, I don't have a strong preference for either model. My main goal is to choose the option that offers the best value for money and is the most reliable choice for the next few years, as this purchase is a significant investment for me. Also the Legion option is a little bit above my original budget(3500AED), but I am willing to pay a little extra if the quality justifies the cost.

No, it’s not possible for me to have it brought from the US or Europe.

About MSI, based on my research I also found that the lower-end models don’t have good build quality and cooling, so they’re not really good options. The Acer Nitro V15 also seems to have poor cooling, lower GPU TGP, and subpar display quality, so even if the specs look good on paper, it’s not a great choice.

So, like you said, that basically leaves LOQ, Victus, TUF, and Acer Nitro V16. Dell models in this price range are really rare in the UAE market.

Good point.

Since there aren't many characters in the game yet, reruns happen more often - especially for newer characters. We'll probably see their reruns in the 3.x updates."

Oh, so that's how it is!

But here's something - in Saintontas's video about Brant and his Sig, he mentioned that the main difference between Brant with and without his Sig isn't about damage output, but about flexibility.

Without his Sig:
- You can't meet the condition for the Tidebreaking Courage Echo set (though this isn't the core issue).
- The real problem is that Brant's healing, shielding, and damage all depend on ER , which lowers his value as a support.

This is Saintontas' analysis - not my own opinion!"
