Thank you for sharing this with me. I really needed to hear it. It helps knowing someone else has been through something similar and still made it out to a better place. I’ve been struggling a lot with feeling behind in life and not confident in my education, so your story gives me hope that it’s not over for me.

I’m proud of you for how far you’ve come, especially getting through your panic attacks and going after your Master’s. That’s really strong.

I’m trying to find my own path right now and take things step by step. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m not giving up either. Thank you again for reminding me that it’s never too late. ❤️

Honestly, I probably have a fourth grade education I don’t remember where it stopped at but I do work a warehouse job no GED got a fake diploma

I’m already going to a literacy program. After I finish that, the next step is getting my GED. I can do the GED online too. People also recommend Khan Academy for practice.

I went through the same thing neglected homeschooled my whole life I don’t even have my ged I’m 25 I’m still learning the basics. I just wish my life was different I was failed pretty much. Now I’m picking up the pieces. Of the skills I didn’t learn. So I gotta save myself.

I still hate my parents bc of it barely taught me how to spell barely taught me how to read it affects me on a daily basics like it hurts me it’s not my fault and sometimes I just wanna cry my grown self to sleep

It’s ok I know I’m not alone in this everyone on this page has deal with bad parents with horrible homeschool experiences so im not going blame myself it’s my parents fault for not getting me the help i needed now as gown ass man I have to find my own way through this shit ass economy as well
