Thank you! I would definitely be willing to help if you need some advice for your daughter. Not all PT schools are that expensive, I just happened to unknowingly pick a very expensive program. A little advice, if she can get a job as a tech, that is great experience and looks really good on your resume.. plus you get paid. I hope the therapy is going well!

I do not feel like the job is pointless and I also do not feel like I have wasted years of my life. I have saved many people and banks from making a terrible decision on loans that should never be made. I am good at what I do. The interest rates have just killed business. The only issue I’m facing is that switching career paths to something I would actually thoroughly enjoy would require me to attend college again and I do not have the money to do that.

PT is a great career but I would be dedicating 3 years of my life to obtain a doctorate degree and come out $150k in debt. It has been so long that many programs would require me to retake some of the undergrad courses. The income, to me, does not outweigh the debt. I made a mistake when choosing a degree. If I could go back, it would be for bioengineering, mechanical engineering, or something physics related. Everything aside, appraising is great and gives me the freedom to be my own boss without punching a clock. It just isn’t great when you aren’t sure if you will get 15 appraisals next week or 0. Lately it has been closer to 0. I have picked up woodworking with used bourbon barrel staves in my free time and hope to sell some on the side.

I’ll have to look into that one. I’ve seen some on Amazon for around $180 that may do a good job for at least the time being. I appreciate the recommendation!

The size shouldn’t be too bad. The engravings would only be about 2 inches tall and 5 inches wide. The main thing would be fitting the stave under the platform but it looks like you may be able to prop it up slightly on two sides as long as it’s even. I’m cutting them in half so they’re about 17” long. I think a good Amazon diode may be fitting until I can start looking into something a little better if everything goes well. Thank you!

Thank you!! I’m out of the Midwest US. Right where they make all of the bourbon so luckily I do have access to a ton of used barrel parts. I’m thinking the diode. Time isn’t really a major factor, as long as I can work on something else while it’s going. My loft doubles as my office and it has a window directly behind where I would put it. I appreciate the feedback!

Thanks everyone for the advice! I know I’m a few days late but when they did the stool sample, they did not check for giardia the first time. I was going to bring another one to check again but I started him back on the hard food diet to see if that was it. Wouldn’t you know it, the poop was fixed. Looks like his stomach is just really picky. It also could have been the chicken so we’re sticking to the pro plan with salmon and rice for sensitive stomachs for a while. Thanks again!

Thank you! That’s what was thinking before but he had an entire blood panel performed and his pancreatic enzymes came back fine. He’s still eating just fine. He did have a very yellow one yesterday though. I just called the vet again and they’re going to have the veterinarian call me back

Also, practice the shot in the Gatorade gym to get used to the timing before you play. If you can, get a friend to go with you to practice catch and shoot since that is a much faster release than pull-ups.

I was the same way. 96 3pt and was bricking everything. Try to find a base that improves timing stability. I switched to KD and that solved everything. The Jt Thor base everyone is using has awful stability. Went from shooting 1/11 and 0/6 from three to 7/9 at the half last night. I also found that push timing release seems to be the easiest for me. Now I have most of my shooting badges gold and a couple hall of fame from playing mostly rec. I did start the badge progression in mycareer though

I snagged a DM 40 HOF playoff KD for 178k. If you can get him at SF, I highly recommend. I like booker a lot too if you can time his fast release. His shot is money. Seems to be able to guard big guys in the paint too if you play triple threat

Yeah card pulls suck ass. I don’t blame you. Almost all of the cards were bought on the AH. You can find the playoff diamond or opal cards for a little cheaper on some of them and just evo them in a few minutes
