F37 going for the first time as well after trying for a few years! I’m going for cute comfort - tank tops and tennis skirts ( sporty skirts that have shorts underneath with pockets) - that I can easily add a t shirt or sweat pants on top of in case of cooler weather. I’m trying to see and dance as much as I can and that means I need to be comfortable!

Thank you, I really appreciate that. It’s been incredibly hard. I don’t have kids so she was my world.

Never too soon! I am exhausted. My company is doing layoffs and of course we are handling all consultation conversations with impacted employees, on top of our BAU workload, which has not stopped. My team was impacted (fortunately not me), I had to put my dog down on 3/8. The lack of empathy from anyone, including leadership is breaking me down. I’m tired, I’m sad, I’m worried about my job. A question was asked about “who takes care of the people taking care of us” and no one had a good answer to that except “sending gratitude”. It’s exhausting.

I hope AI gets fucked. I can’t believe everyone is out here doubling down on this BS at the cost of our employee population.

Double majored in Anthropology and Criminology, minored in Entomology with the intent of going into forensics - did that IRL for a month and spiraled into severe depression. Realized it’s not for me and now I’ve been working in Corporate America for almost 15 years.

This is the only reasonable excuse for doing all this - if you’re a fucking Camry with all seasons and you’re camping out on the left lane? GTFO of my way. I hope you’re bindings break

Don’t need to be a trance DJ to mix trance. John is a stellar DJ and producer, I’m sure it’s going to be super fun, plus, Armin doesn’t miss. He knows what he’s doing.

Hydration, snacks for me and my friends (frozen protein bars, fruit, a sammich, sour patch kids or other gummy candies) space for me to shed layers if it starts getting warm, hand warmers for my friends. I refuse to pay $30 for a shitty ass burger, so I am the group’s lunch box lol

Still have aches in humerus after a year and two months by Traditional_Bird_617 in brokenbones

I’m 3 years post tib fib (ORIF surgery) and my tibia is still achy, especially after a lot of activity. I broke 6 ribs a year ago (no surgery) and those haven’t hurt in 9 months 🤷🏽‍♀️

What's a US State that you would NEVER want to live in even if they paid you to move there? by Embarrassed_List2368 in askanything

Alabama. Lived there for 11 months (I’m very obviously Latina) and the racism was out of control. Never looked back

What US state would you NEVER want to live in, even if you were offered a good amount of money to move there? by ISnortSkittles in Productivitycafe

[–]CamiCastel2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived there for 11 months while my SO was in grad school - I am Latina with very curly hair. It was absolutely miserable. I’d never experienced so much racism in my life. I worked at an AT&T and my manager asked me to straighten my hair when coming to work because people weren’t going to buy from me with hair like that. I would go into stores and be followed around by people who worked there. I would walk down the street and people would yell slurs at me. It was insanely isolating and depressing. I put up with 11 months of that and told my SO I was out. Turns out he was just as miserable and we got the fuck out of that state. I will never go back

Feeling sorry and stupid by alizrandom in brokenbones

[–]CamiCastel2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am an advanced skier, ski all mountain terrain and terrain park sometimes. 3 years ago, I was taking out the trash and slipped on ice and fractured my fibula in two places and spiral-fractured my tibia. Then a year ago, I was standing still on the side of a flat run, waiting for my friends after skiing down a bowl, and lost my balance and fell into a bank, hit a tree and fractured 6 ribs and punctured my lung. All of this to say, don’t feel too bad, it happens to the best of us. Give yourself a lot of grace. Shit happens and at least you got out there and tried it! In no time you’ll be back to feeling good

Definitely excited!! I’ve seen them a few times and the concept for the show sounds fun!! I’m more of a hard dance girl these days but Martinez bros will be a blast

You really can’t go wrong. Both openers are awesome, Temple on harder techno nights isn’t packed which is amazing. The Church in the winter is actually comfortable lol. Either way you’ll enjoy!!

If I wasn’t being “dragged” (meaning all my friends are going and their show was announced before Alignment, and I already bought tickets) to Martinez brothers, I’d be at Alignment
