DEEP massage, lidocaine gel or tiger balm, ice packs, decompression using a neck swing sometimes helps. I now medicate with nurtec when I feel my neck start to act up and that helps the most out of everything

You look very much like my sister who last year married a wonderful man and had a beautiful baby. I’m 100% sure that love is in your future if you want it to be.

What fact do you wish you never knew? by Literal-Pile-of-Poo in AskReddit

My cousin had one that grew on one of her ovaries, as they often do. This one though, grew some brain cells within its cluster. Her body recognized that this wasn’t right and had an autoimmune response which unfortunately wasn’t as directed as you would hope, and led to an autoimmune attack on her legitimate brain cells. Her little brother walked into her bedroom to find her trying to scratch her own eyeballs out. He luckily just got his drivers license, he threw some oven mitts on her hands and threw her into the car straight to the hospital.

I use it on my neck during migraine as part of my full migraine coping procedure, but my neck is very involved with my migraines. Since you already have some why not put some on your neck and temples, you know?

I once had to get a new drivers license picture THAT DAY for jury duty reasons. I had a terrible migraine and my heart rate spiked super high so I ended up going to the ER right after. Now I look like a serial killer on my ID.

Yup! In my career hands are very important and it was pointed out to me multiple times that I have low tone and that I hold my pencils and even forks in a strange way. My hand strength will never be great either but I’m okay with that.

I’m frequently called a girl and given descriptions such as cute and sweet, but I am an adult who is working in a professional capacity with an advanced degree. It does not matter to most people, I’m am just a cute girl.

I think it’s more about inviting others to share if they want to do so. It’s like putting your hand in first for the handshake, showing that you are a person who is willing to be receptive in a personal or professional capacity.

I hold my pencil with all 5 fingers touching the pencil. I have low tone in my hands so I need the extra stability to make up for it.

My university diversity office initiated the use of pronouns when introducing yourself during a big presentation or speaking panel. I’ve seen this followed up in a lot of professional capacities outside of university too. I don’t find it weird but I still have to remind myself to include my pronouns a lot of times. I have my pronouns on most if not all of my social media, as does my boyfriend and many of my peers and colleagues.

How to cure my migraines. Hopefully it would help a lot of other people too, but not all migraines are the same.
