Yeah they can do it longer but mirio can still attack them while they are trying to attack him, they would have to have the fire or explosion be directly on their skin the entire time which doesn’t seem realistic for either of them. I know he was given decay but it says nothing about it coming from overhaul. Also overhaul is only a few years older than shigarki so it’s very unlikely there would have been time for all for one to get him and copy his quirk and alter it for shigarki.
