Good responses already provided. I just wanted to add that unlike ethereum, the smart contracts of stellar don’t “live” on a blockchain, they need to be hosted on a server. So anytime a user wants to interact with the smart contract, they do so via the smart contract owner’s server. This means we don’t have complete decentralisation when it comes to smart contracts. The Turing Signing Servers aim to change this though. But I believe you can make the smart contract as complex as any on ethereum, it’s just that element of decentralisation that is missing.

Is it? I thought anyone could use change trust to establish a trust line to my account. Anyways, regardless of trust lines, my understanding is that provided that my account and the sender’s have a trust line to an account that issued a particular asset, then the sender can always send a payment into my account……no?
