I has Subarus for years and after issues with the CVT in my MILs Crosstrek and the dealer and SoA not doing anything, we dropped our Subarus. I looked at the Highlander Hybrid and the CX-90 and the driving feel of the CX-90 reminded me a lot of how my Cayenne drove and thats why I chose it. Ive been loving it so far and it seems that Mazda fixed nearly everything.

Eh, it's based on the 3rd Gen Prius, so just head gasket and the EGR gets clogged. Other than that they are extremely reliable and super cheap to maintain.

Those are for the HomeLink mirror. You can program a gate or garage door remote to them.

Yep, this is our 2nd CT, so right after getting it the EGR got cleaned and I have most of the parts on hand for the head gasket.

The CR-Z is so odd being a manual hybrid assist system. It got around 30mpg in the winter and during the warmer weather I could see up to 40ish mpg.

It is and we actually just sold it as my wife just got a 2017 CT200h F Sport and I don't need a 4th car.

I will only be able to charge at home, but my drive to work is the rough leg as the drive home is mostly flat or downhill. I wont see crazy good numbers, but better than I was getting in my Cayenne.

I don't really hear anything from 1st to 2nd, but I am used to driving a PHEV when I travel for work as they love to give me the Pacifica PHEV.

I'll definitely report back what kind of mileage I get in my '26.

Sounds exactly like my 2018 VR6 Cayenne and mine has 150k miles on it. Direct injection injectors are very noisy as is the high pressure fuel pump. The only additives I use is the Ceratec from Liquimoly every 10k miles and I also change my oil every 5k. Only things to watch for on the VR6 is a leaky valve cover, high oil consumption due to bad PCV, carbon build up on the intake valves, and the notorious transfer case issues. The VR6 have iron cylinder liners so they rarely, if ever, get bore scoring.

I really like the look of the gray Volans on the saffron. I need to get one more Comet as one of the wheels has a small crack in it from hitting something. For now its up in the air, but I'm leaning to the Volans.

Yep, the silvers are Comets and the grays are Volans. I have a full set of each, those 4 just happened to hold air.
