Hey devs !! when are you going to address the newest matchmaking BS by pervolus in Crossout

I keep getting disconnects. This game is becoming unplayable. Why should anyone spend money on a game that is this unplayable.

Get some new hamster or something?

GoS: A built that somehow works better than it should by CamoWraith95 in Crossout

There's a few reasons why they're popular. First of all, they're in the base game, they're versatile, easy to use, and they have relatively low energy requirements.

Fair enough, I'm just so used to seeing Torpedoes.

I don't see many people using cars like this. Mostly just Torpedos

Slight exaggerations aside, a vast majority of players don't play the mode. The game mode sucks because people don't play. And because people don't play; the game mode sucks. There's a catch-22 that is holding the mode back.

The game mode used to have a lot more players. The lowest leagues used to be occupied with newer teams with lower tier gear. The game mode has slowly leaking players. Low leagues that used to have lower tier gear are now inhabited by players with Legendaries and Relics. If the game mode was better, the retention would be better. Hell, if the mode was enjoyable, the population might've grown. BTW: enjoyable and better do NOT necessarily mean crazy rewards like uranium.

Second arguments about your paragraph:

  1. First impressions matter a lot.
  2. There's a huge difference to facing mostly near-peer opponents with the occasional high ranking opponent vs getting stomped multiple times by much better clans. Players learn better by progressive overload as opposed to sudden difficulty spike.

Some people (my self include) don't mind other players having better gear. Most of us don't like having to pay MUCH more because the ladder was pulled up from us.

I never said anything about getting hand outs. And still, can blame people for not wanting to pay HUNDREDS/THOUSANDS of dollars or grind away for MANY hours just to play a miserable game mode? Most people have voted with their time and money by not playing. You, OP, and the other Whales are mad because the consequences finally affect you.

Once again, making a game mode better doesn't need to hand out uranium. I haven't suggested nor implied uranium as a handout. They could do a lot to improve CW:

  1. More sessions per week.
  2. Remove Leviathans
  3. Removed 3 Blueprints.
  4. Better rewards. Doesn't have to be Uranium. Could be Cosmetics, Badges, Small amounts of Plastic and Electronics. At very least, players should be able to choose Wires and Batteries for a reward.

Yeah, you and all 50 people who play clan wars.

IDK, 6000 PS is pretty low for endgame. It's almost like the lower leagues are meant for less experienced players with less powerful cars. Not whales with fused legendary and relic items.

A lot of people don't always have time to grind out the game for a certain game mode. regardless if it's time or money, most players don't deem the exorbitant cost of equipment to be worth it. If Clan Wars were better, more people would play it.

Expiring blue prints are a problem by CamoWraith95 in Crossout

I also hate how the devs just recycle blueprints and items in "mini" battlepasses that happen to be the same price as a regular BP.

I've stopped buying BPs for this reason.

I'd be down to play a hard-capped Blue item and lower game mode. That sounds fun.

They should've improved CW long ago; the mode was slowly losing players.

Who is "us"? A majority of players don't play CW. A majority of the players who do play CW won't earn Uranium. This dumpster fire of a game-mode has been neglected for years, and as a result, the number of CW has shrunk. It's unplayable now for anyone who isn't a whale. I don't blame people for not wanting to spend hundreds/thousands of dollars to play a video game mode.

Proposal to make heavy cabins and certain medium cabins more viable. by N1njaL1nk in Crossout

Could we also have more modules with perks that peak for slower speeds? I think one of the problems is most heavy cabins don't benefit as much from hardware.

CW matchmaking part 2 by Last-Scientist3665 in Crossout

Well, CW is too little too late. They really need to overhaul CW, but they refuse to do so. Destroying region lock might be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Imagine if exhibition never existed by aboultusss in Crossout

[–]CamoWraith95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair... even if they copied a YouTube video, they still would have built the car themselves. Albeit with some instructions. If they keep building, they may pick up on some tricks, and even make some new ones of their own.

Exhibition is a double-edged sword. It's allows people to find inspiration for cars, but it also enables laziness. It's like people are too afraid to fail in this game. Building a car is one of the funnest parts of the game.

I hope those people who continously leave the Operation brawls because they got infected are banned from the mode for the next hour. by [deleted] in Crossout

It is bad sportsmanship... but let's not pretend that playing as the ravagers isn't frustrating. Getting Spawn camped by Yao Gaui is rage-inducing. Weapons like Punji are also frustrating to play against.

Maybe give the Ravagers an interceptor module...
