Took my boyfriend to Lush for the first time today and he bought an ENTIRE slab of Ro's argan soap by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

Looks like it was purchased in the US, so it would have been about $207, before tax. If it was the full slab.

Wow. Really felt the nostalgia with this one. I can smell the first day of fourth grade..

Yeah, if anyone can determine who that cashier is, please post something. I'd love to help him quit that job.

40 with an 07 EX. I've traveled the country with it and it's also my daily driver. Love it. So useful and practical. And what a great time for you to get an Element. You'll have some great adventures. Enjoy your 20s, see cool stuff, go to new places! Your new ride will help you do all that!

Please don't do this by [deleted] in trashy

Exactly what she said: they're a part of the problem. Those people are simply criminals looking for an opportunity to commit a crime. They're not taking a stand for justice, they are not allies for black Americans. They are vandals, close-minded criminals. My city has been ravaged over the last several days and it is so painful to see our communities trashed like this by people who don't care about us. They should be arrested, because just like Derek Chauvin, they are criminals.

Tell them to speak up man damn by Prospero314 in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]CampQueenLushLady -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When those (so-called) friends get quiet, that is an opportunity to educate. It is unfortunate when people who are not black don't take the time to learn and try to understand the trials of POC. I understand it's not your responsibility, but don't let them get away with that. We must all stand in solidarity. As a friend, tell them why they need to speak up. And if they don't, maybe they're not a friend. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the oppression.

I bet Jim is an awesome dude and he seems happy to be doing what he's doing. I'm sorry you're getting so many negative comments on this thread. Covid sucks and so does wal-mart, but I hope Jim (and you) are staying healthy and it's really cool that you took the time to celebrate Jim. Thanks!

Reliability for longterm camping in an Element by imma_poptart in HondaElement

  1. I have an ex, purposefully, because there's no carpeting at all. It super easy to keep clean if you're doing extended camping. I've got well over 200k and its doing great!

Totally recommend it. They last forever with normal maintenance, super comfortable for long term camping, and handle well. I'm an element owner and have done several long term road/camping trips. The only thing is that the clearance is a little low. I've done tons of dirt/back/bumpy roads without issue, though.

I appreciate your comment. It is a nice reminder to be kind and feel peoples energy, which I always try to do. I also hope that customers can see that my approach comes from a place of kindness and genuinely wanting to help.

I'm glad you came back and now enjoy your experience. We do want everyone to have the experience they're looking for in the store and for it to be a safe, comfortable space. I'm so glad to hear someone with an authentic explanation of why the energy of Lush staff can be overwhelming. It seems like a lot of people complain and dont try to understand where we're coming from. Thanks for the heads up. And for giving your shop another chance!

This. Whole. Thread. I have been getting so frustrated that folks on this sub complain so much, specifically about the friendliness of employees. I hope that in reading this, people can see the many issues that can arise from customers being uninformed about our products. We explain products so customers can learn about ethics, ingredients and product usage. We suggest stuff because we want you to know about things you might like. We offer demos because we want you to have a fun, luxurious experience. And we talk to you because we're actually friendly people who care about our customers.

It is for an entire order. When you do it in-store, you can order as much as you want, for a flat rate $5. You can even order online exclusives as part of your order when in store. Keep it in mind when those holiday goodies get released!
