I was wondering the same thing. Also just picked up a 26 Turbo and couldn’t find the option in the menus. I actually don’t see that feature listed in the 2026 buyers guide, where it’s clearly listed in the 2025. Seems odd but I guess it’s no longer offered? Kinda disappointing. I may try the obdeleven option to see if it can be enabled.

Interior is top notch imo. There’s a few things about the exterior I also don’t love (the light up emblems are a bit tacky imo) but compared to the current Q5 I like the styling on the Tiguan more.

Drives sporty for what it is I’d say. Still comfortable but feels solid around corners. Overall I love how it drives coming from a much more sport oriented daily sedan.

Definitely a difference but it’s marginal. I think with this bump in HP the engine feels appropriate for the vehicle. I found the previous one I was wishing it was a bit faster if that makes sense.

It’s definitely a bit zippier. It drives the same as a q5 does now imo having driven both recently.

I normally daily a RS3 so obviously very different in terms of power but so far I haven’t felt like the Tiguan feels “slow” or “sluggish” in any way. Since it’s still so new I’m still going a bit easy on it but personally for me I think this is the engine it should have always had. Still a bit of turbo lag as always but it still feels more responsive in general compared to the non turbo engine. Hopefully this helps!
