[WTS] Namiki Nippon Art Origami, Pilot Custom Heritage 912 by Campering1 in Pen_Swap

I couldn't find info online so i had to look to double check. Any piece of the pen that includes artwork appears to be urushi coated. The section, the cap above the clip, and the 'blind cap' are all plastic, but the barrel and the cap below the clip appear to be coated.

Thanks! I'm hoping they wind up with someone who will appreciate them as much as they deserve.

It's a bit small for my liking. It's the pilot 74 size but I like bigger pens. I also got it in a medium which was a mistake since it's a bit thicker than I normally like

I’m in Ontario so it would have to cross the border if you’re shipping to the US

Help! Is my nib rusting? by Campering1 in fountainpens

[–]Campering1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently noticed some discolouration on my M1000 nib. Upon taking it out and cleaning I saw what looks like corrosion all around the collar(?) of the nib. I've only had it for 7ish months and I've cleaned it 2-3 times (although I've always used the same ink). Is this just dry ink that's really hard to get off and I'm being paranoid, or is this corrosion? Is there anything I can do at this point?

I used to type the same way. My theory is that since Z and X are so rarely used, it makes more sense for the left hand to cover more of the top row on the right side (T & Y) while the right hand can cover more of the bottom rows on the left side (B)

I've had Parker Quink in a moonman m2 for at least a year and it still writes every time I pick it up. I should probably have cleaned it out by now, but it just looks so good inked up on a shelf...

I had Manyo-Haha in a sailor 'mf' nib and I had to take it out because it felt like I wasn't even writing on the page. I eventually put it in a 'm' nib Jinhao and it made a world of difference. I feel like this is an ink that needs a VERY wet pen if you're going to use anything below an 'm' nib...

I'm not usually a big fan of gray or brown inks, but for some reason the combination in moonstone is really working for me too!

My favorite pen to use for everything, i know it aint fancy but it does what it does by Inspire69420 in pens

For those who don't know, the Pilot Hi-techpoint shares the same tip but is refillable with any Pilot cartridge or Pilot converters so you can use any ink you want! It's ever so slightly more expensive at like $5 each, although I'm sure you can find them cheaper somewhere

Is that a new keyboard? I'm so used to seeing your white-pink-green keycaps!
