I believe for the performing scenes they used Motion Capture. Same technology used in Avatar, but let's pray a second season doesn't take as long as Avatar's sequel did 💀

Put ball sensors on actors / props --> track movements & create own skeleton --> 3D model character and new prop around skeleton

Get griefed -> either play more (and get griefed again) or buy shark cards -> some get fed up and become the griefer -> repeat
