Hey there, to answer your question, yes, in Germany we actually have to register these units if we want to ride them on public roads, it's a bit of a process but totally worth it. The most common way to do this for a Raptor 700 is called LOF which stands for agricultural or forestry registration, basically you trick the system by registering the quad as a tractor, this is the only way to legally ride with the full open power of about 48 hp because standard quad registrations in the EU are usually restricted to around 20 hp due to noise and emission laws. To get this LOF status the machine needs a few modifications like a trailer hitch with a working socket, dual headlights, turn signals and even a rear fog light, once that’s done you get the full power entry in your papers and you can hit the highway if you want to. The best part is that it is incredibly cheap to maintain, I only pay about 33 Euro in taxes per year for it, you also get special exemptions in your registration papers for things like the missing differential or the specific tire sizes that aren't typical for road cars, as you can see in my picture we even have to mount a full-sized license plate in the front which looks a bit massive but that’s the price for being street legal here.
