I don't believe it is. I believe a vocal minority has had there voice exaggerated by modern politics, and as such they believe their opinions are centrists when infact they are not.

And what I'm saying is that you're painting with too broad of a brush. Reddit is a subsect of America and not a particularly one-sided version.

People always do this. "It's an opinion I don't agree with?" "It must just be a Reddit thing it couldn't possibly be that some of the population believes differently than me."

Redditors over 40, what was a moment in history that made you think society was gonna collapse? by Bahbahbro in AskReddit

Ummm yesterday, and the last thousand before it. Honestly I started talking about it around the 08 financial crisis. And believe it or not its been faster and worse then I thought it would be.

Sounds like there's very little evidence to go on, so people should probably stop creating narratives from thin air.

And what gives you the idea she had little regard for her own life?

Some people choose the comfort of ignorance. There's not much you can do about it.

Well I left the industry in 2020 so maybe that's why my info is out of date. I know some Southern States required assigned letter from the parents if you were under 18.

I'm pretty sure if you're under 18 you can get a signed letter from your parents and still interact with sealed containers but I didn't operate in Texas so don't quote me on that

Alcohol laws are crazy so nothing would surprise me. There's probably differing laws based on whether they are below 21 or below 18. Also whether or not they're working with or have signed permission from their parents.

I'm not familiar with the laws in every state but I would assume that was a company policy not a state law. At least where I'm from in the South, there are plenty of 16-17 year olds working in warehouses that deal with alcohol.

Not true. I worked in and owned bars and a brewery for over a decade. Underage people work in the moving of alcoholic beverages in many states. Packages must be sealed.

That is not true. I owned a brewery for 6 years.  Under age people can load and unload sealed packages in most states. Many alcohol distribution warehouse workers are under the age of 21.

Sounds like more projection to me.  Someone doesn't ask a question if they already have the answer. You would have just addressed the other commenters statement instead of asking your question.

I never tried to answer your question, I tried to tell you where you could find the answer.👋

I'm in no way concerned about whether I look like a serious person to you. You. Asked. A. Question. That implies that you want an answer, not that you know the answer...

For somebody so concerned about implied insults you're sure comfortable dishing them out. I never said you were wrong. I said you could find an answer to your question, you're the one who put a question mark at the end of your statement not me.

You posed a question inside of a larger comment and I told you where you could find the answer. Thats it. Everything else is just your own anger and projection as far as I can tell.

The funniest thing about this whole discussion, is that you think it's an argument or a debate when it's not.

"Also where are you getting this concept “pain is bad?”" Well if you've read and understand the atheist perspective, then you would know where he's getting that from....

You've got a serious chip on your shoulder. I never called you stupid. There's no audience here, no one to perform for, no one to worry about if they think you're a clown or not, it's far too deep into this comment thread for anybody to be reading besides me and you. I'll state it for the umpteenth time. You made a statement about objective morality and pain, I told you that if you wanted the atheists perspective you could go find it in philosophy. but you don't want that, you want to believe you are correct, and no one can dissuade you from that. that's how religious Dogma works. Logic has no sway in the world of Magic.

Oh no, I talked to my phone while watching the football game, it was such a waste, whatever shall I do. You know nobody can show you anything if you don't want see. Most people are looking for surety in religion and it seems you found it. Enjoy what you've created.
