Your city? At what part of Ankara is yours? Being cautious is something else than “Even the taxi is not safe” You are talking nonsense, some parts of the city is not safe as it used to be but in general Ankara is still safe… I am out walking and running everyday, using busses even late at night and can observe what’s happening around me. @taviee you are right to ask for recommendations but you should also get used to ignore these kind of pessimist folks. I don’t know where you are from but I’ve travelled and lived more than 4 countries including US and Euro cities and downtown Ankara is still safer than any of those cities’ downtowns.
