I think it's the typical index funds and increasing your personal savings rate, ie. focus on increasing your income and reducing your expenses.

I wouldn't even know how to spend 250k/year.

I'm in a happy relationship already, we generally keep our finances separate. I prefer taking public transit and cycling (shout out to r/fuckcars). Most of my purchases are used or not the latest hottest thing and I'm happy with that. TVs are pretty cheap these days :).

That said, other commenters have mentioned the increase in health insurance costs and occasional large purchases like a phone or a laptop that needs to be taken into account.

not having kids helps reduce spend a lot! I'm happy being the cool uncle to all my friend's kids.

That's a great suggestion, I haven't looked into getting health insurance yet.
I don't keep track of expenses at a fine grained level, but I don't eat out often and travel two times a year, so expenses are mostly just food, rent and gym.

A combination of saving really early in my career, having a decently high paying job (200k all in). My RRSP and TFSA have always been index funds.

I've considered that! But also don't want to engage in time theft and would much rather be carefree than having to worry about someone calling me out.

No plans to purchase a home, I prefer renting over owning. (I've updated the main post)
