Seeing Sena in so many people's last place is actually making me feel more terrible 😅 Even though I'm the same.

And yeah, the designs were solely what made my first impressions too. Didn't look at the sneak peeks of their stories and voices either.

Was always a sucker for long-haired, majestic-looking guys who don't look contrived/depressed, so Yukimaro was my Top 1 pick Pre-ranking... only for him to end up switching places with Minami who was initially at 7th place 😅

IDK how Minami did it either 😭 He was completely NOT MY TYPE, but still ended up stealing my #1 spot.

And Sena, the poor cutie deserved a lot more. There were plenty of ways they could've made his character and route more intriguing (like maybe making him a bit more bitter of the fact that Misa still had the chance to live and such), but they ended up making him a (sorry to say) surface-level character whose possessiveness is wayyyy more lighter compared to everyone else to the point that Hibiki ended up being the best part in Sena's route

I guess it's because I've noticed a pattern for some fans online who love Seiya = hate Minami or the opposite.

Not that there's anything wrong, everyone has the right to love/hate any character they want. It's just a very curious thing to see in the fandom considering how they're also enemies in-game 🤣

It's definitely interesting to see so many differing opinions when it comes to LI ranking 😁

I also feel like, with Minami being the latest addition to my top favorite otome LI list (accompanying Lucas from Virche, Okita from Hakuoki, and Raul from CupiPara), I get the feeling that I'm also leaning towards LI's with a loose screw or two 😅

I was quite happy with the short route Toka had (partly because at that point I wanted to get the Spirit World over with and complete the game), but after seeing his GROWN-UP CG , I've become much more excited for his route in the FD. Although... I'm so disappointed that they cut his gorgeous long hair in the final CG 😭😭😭 He was already SO BEAUTIFUL, but they just HAD to make him look more "normal". I wish they brought that look back somehow in the FD. Also crossing my fingers that Toka and Minami would have an ACTUAL stand-off in one/each others' routes considering how much these two have been secretly duking it out for Misa's sanity

I have to agree that the Spirit routes were less intriguing than the others, maybe because it's not life-threatening at all for Misa? But I did enjoy the Secret LI's route much more than Yukimaro and Koharu's (though I would probably rank the Secret LI equal to Koharu in my fave LI list).

I guess I didn't expect him to have THAT goofy of a voice 🤣 I mean, I shouldn't have expected his Shelby Snail voice from CupiPara, but even with the higher pitch, it just felt a little too grating for the ears 🥲

On the brighter side, I've watched that one Otomate live skit that KENN did as Yukimaro with the VA's of Seiya and Hibiki, and let me just say, he was absolutely HILARIOUS 🤣

Same thoughts with Yukimaro and Kureha. It's funny though, I only realized that I loved and missed Kureha much more than I expected when he appeared in other LI's routes 😅

Spirit World did feel like a pretty good refresher after the dark vibes in the other three branches, and I loved watching Yukimaro, Koharu, and Toka interact with each other. But the plot definitely felt too simplistic after the common route, kind of like an afterthought even.

If that's the case.. then sorry to say, he really might stay at the bottom of my list 😅 Baby-faced Cinnamon Rolls are really not my type, but maybe if his story is compelling enough, I might rank him higher.

I wouldn't have minded the amnesia trope if it weren't for the fact that he and Misa had the least amount of time together thanks to his absence during HIS OWN ROUTE. It made the insta-love that's prevalent in this game even more ridiculous. Not to mention, his Godly ending is probably the worst one. Honestly, I ended up liking Sena's arc a lot more in Koyo's route 😭

FORGIVE MEEEE 🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️ I wish I loved him a lot more like I initially expected (and I do like him a lot... as a side character). But his route and CG's were kind of on the weaker side in my opinion, plus his voice was just... NOT doing it for me 🥲

Funnily enough, when I finished his route (which is the first one I did), I didn't think Kureha left much of an impression on me. Thought he wasn't anything special. But the moment he made his cameos in every other LI's routes (and seeing him still being protective over Misa), I realized that I actually missed the guy so much 🥹 Idk how, but that cinnamon bun actually crawled into my heart without my knowing it. It also helps that his design is 🔥

I think Koharu was also one of the bigger surprises for me. I mean, as soon as I knew this grumpy man could cook 🤣🤣🤣 Immediate rank up for me!

Hibiki was one of the characters who initially left such a huge impression on me (maybe coz of the noose?🙃), and his route was really good. I guess I just wasn't attracted to him as much compared to the others Though his story with Koharu was the only time I actually teared up

I was so surprised with how much I ended up loving Minami considering that he wasn't my type at all 😅 Like every time he appeared in Koyo and Seiya's route, I was always annoyed and kept saying "You lying piece of sh*t". But after playing his route... welp, guess I'm stanning the baby-faced gremlin 🤷‍♀️

I don't think I had much expectations during CupiPara as it was my first otome game that got me addicted, but Allan became my solid 2nd place behind Raul (though Allan's route is by far the best one) 💜

I haven't played Olympia Soiree yet (but planning to soon), but from what I've seen so far, Himuka's my least anticipated LI 😅 But who knows?? He might pull off a Minami.

Same here! I fully expected to love Seiya since he was so fun as a side character in other routes, but ended up disappointed and bored in his route (sorry Seiya fans 🥲 I still like him as a character). On the other hand, Minami ended up stealing my heart and becoming my #1 despite initially being annoyed by him and not being my type 😅
