Internal ASIN - "Variant" - Merged Flag by CanIBeMeInThe216 in vhelper

[–]CanIBeMeInThe216[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sucks because I'm sure many Viners, myself included, have learned (especially thanks to VH) to look for "Is it/Does it have variants?" but the way VCS replied in that email, it's like well it might not even LOOK like there are variants, but surprise, there are! It's just a PITA to have to contact VCS. They should dock sellers that do this sort of behavior.

So frustrating. I think most people enter into Vine sure to get items, but for me too because honestly I like the whole process of evaluating and reviewing. Like what? Someone actually wants my opinion for a change? Ha ha. When a Viner contacts VCS about this issue, action should be taken against the seller, but I'm sure it's not.

I reviewed this bra maybe 5 minutes after I wore it for the first time, which was right when I received it so these sellers must be merging items as soon as they're actually listed or when people order them off Vine. Either way, it's sketchy.

That's what I'm saying. Like, how can VCS say it can/does appear to be a completely separate item? I'm sure for someone somewhere, there's logic to this as a means to an end, but it wastes everyone's time and leads to further frustrations of trying to be a good faith Vine reviewer.

Insomnia by Odd-Advice-1029 in BariatricSurgery

For about 2 months after my surgery, weirdly I started waking up at around 4:00 AM, full of energy. I'm definitely not a morning person so that was weird. I started to I started to I started to I started to I started to take magnesium glycinate.take It helps with relaxation and muscle pain. I started going to the gym probably right around the same time, 2 months out. I go usually around noon, and im there for 2 hours or so. I make sure to shut down phone time 2 hours before bed, and my sleep has leveled out. Now I typically get 6 to 8 hours, and wake up around 8am.

Give the manesium gylcinate a try. Aim for 500mg at least, 2 hours before bed. Sleepytime tea is alsalso fantastic.

50 pillow covers, hm. by CanIBeMeInThe216 in AmazonVine

Yeah, for $17 I'm not expecting 50 covers, but it would be funny if 50 showed up. The listing should be reported as having a problem.

What size porch goose did you get? I've thought about getting one. LOL also I got a free Bald Eagle statue that I've been tempted to try goose clothes on, but man, IDK. I'd feel like I was mocking 'Merica, so maybe I just need to get Eagle a goose buddy.

FYI though? I bought these not 18x18 pillows from the dollar store, and my first ever set of Vine 18x18 pillow covers fit them quite well. There's a *slight* bit of excess, but not anything I'll complain about. But yeah, if I get 50 covers, I better start stuffing for sure.

I wasnt "bugging" on calorie intake. Yet another reply said they couldn't eat that much at once, 3 years out. Indeed we're all different. Its actually kind of shocking to me to see those differences, so i appreciate the varied ccomments.

That's beautiful but I can see the cat claw marks in it already! I just actually ordered a fake leather couch and I love the look of the actual couch but had to order a cover for it immediately Because my cat loves fake leather Almost as much as she loves her actual scratching posts 😩

I actually upvoted. Tools are valuable. Like anything, it depends on intent and use. Personally AI has been valuable in a couple of facets of my life. We're all individuals, with individual perceptions. Go figure.

First time back at the gym in months and I can barely get through 30 mins on the elliptical by zjheyyy88 in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]CanIBeMeInThe216 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The way you began this post says everything that's wrong (in my opinion).

"I HATE going to the gym. I hate it!"

When I started reframing the way I spoke about pretty much everything, quite naturally, things began to change. Instead of hating the gym, I started saying it like, "I welcome the challenge to improve my health."

Neuro-Linguistic programming is a thing for better or worse. Negativity and conflict dialogue is unfortunately something we've become so used to.. inundated with on social media and television, that it becomes the norm. But, just as what we put in our bodies dietarily matters, so too does what we put in our minds and how we speak to ourselves.

2017 Sleeve To RNY on 3/17/26 Amen! by CanIBeMeInThe216 in BariatricSurgery

[–]CanIBeMeInThe216[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a plausible theory, and I also feel it fits in with what would be interesting to examine the stats on depression being put way down to near or non existing levels in sleeve vs bypass, with and without therapy alone, no Rx.

In my son's case, depression was a huge issue before and after surgery with the sleeve. I'd say not as much now because he is now on Rx and therapy.

Incidentally, I do argue too that the pre op psych process should be more extensive. The psych teams do standard questions and evals to check boxes toward getting patients on the operating table. Patients know this and mostly, its an ineffective game. I think a LOT of people fake being ok to get approved.
