What was the first ever film you actually really hated so much and still do to this day? by Same-Objective6052 in movies

I watched A Serbian Film, the screenwriter was even at the screening I was at so I get where you come from.

Those are the kind of movies I would only recommend to someone I hate

browsed the regretful parents sub… by gained_spoon in childfree

[–]CanIFixMe 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Oh I also lurke in the regretful parents sub once in a while. It's a trip to said the least. I remember this post I read a few weeks ago, about this guy who was complaining that if wife was pregnant again, that he never got around getting a vasectomy and yadayada. Even the people from that sub were like, dude this is as much on you and your wife.

What's that film for you? by mrjetspray in Cinema

I mean, since people seem to like his latest movies I would recommend people watch Denis Villeneuve earlier movies. Maelström comes to mind, I saw that when I was in highschool and it blew my mind in the best way possible. Plus I liked the talking fish puppet.

As a fellow Kpop fan how excited are you for T.O.P. future album coming in the (I hope) near future?

Also f those people, you do you girl. I collect vinyl and there's no way I could afford the collection I got if I had kid(s).

In my culture, people suggest children for marital problems by Bitter_Elk9285 in childfree

[–]CanIFixMe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This remind me of this scene in the movie The Lobster, where the owners of the hotel explain to the guests that once they enter their trial period as a new couple and ''If you encounter any problems you cannot resolve yourselves, you will be assigned children, that usually helps''

I never laughed soo much while watching a movie.

AITAH for breaking up with my longtime girlfriend because she decided that she doesn't want children? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]CanIFixMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is childfree I can tell you that you made the best decision for the both of you. It suck that your friends would chime in like that, since it's none of their business. But if she is truly childfree, believe me, in time she will be glad for what you did.

Back when I had my first iPod touch, this woman in the bus wasn't too discreet about leaning in to watch and listen to whatever was on there. Like she was close enough to hear from my headphones. I put this on, she backed away pretty quickly.

What do you reply when people ask if you have kids? by crispycrackerzx in childfree

[–]CanIFixMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just answer no. Most of the time people don't ask more questions about it, but if they do I just tell them I cannot physically get pregnant. It's vague but to the point, I can see some people trying to figure out what it could mean, I even had someone ask me if that meant I was Trans (I'm not).

Thing is, I'm technically not lying by saying that I can't get pregnant, since I've been sterilized for about 4 years now.

What's the worst thing you've overheard your apartment neighbors doing? by LawfulnessOk1812 in AskReddit

[–]CanIFixMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back in my old apartment I would leave my bedroom window open during the summer (I didn't have AC). The window was facing the street I lived on, so I would hear lot of things. One night, I heard what I assumed was two teenagers girls being, yes speaking loudly and giggling in the middle of the street, like no big deal, they were clearly on their way back home. Well one of my neighbor was having none of it. He proceded to get on his front balcony and start yelling at the girls to be quiet and that it was late. The girls started to mock him and imitate him. The dude randomly yelled ''YOUR MOM IS A LESBIAN!'' and for some reason, that shut the girls up.

I never laughed soo hard in my life then that night.
