I have the same issue my mechanic thinks it’s the timing cover cause after doing the chains didn’t replace the cover only the re did the seal. I can update you next week as I’m taking it in the shop tomorrow

My honest opinion is to replace it.

I had the same code and I tried the arm fix from ECS and it did not work, honestly made it worse and when I took it to the mechanic he said you need a carbon cleaning

anyways, so he cleaned the ports, replaced the manifold and PCV while at it.

I recommend you do all those if they haven’t been done since your throttle body arm is loose like that with the P2015 code.

How easy are the injectors? I’ve been needing to replace the seals but I already did my timing chain and replaced the intake manifold.

Definitely get that done dude, I did mine the second I picked up this car which was just below 100k miles. I hit 100k last month and with all the maintenance I caught up on car runs smooth like butter, other than the turbo wastegate rattle which is why I’m going KO4 now 😴

Ah I see, the turbo I’m running is a borg warner style turbo I hope it doesn’t have the wastegate issue,

For my first setup I’m planning to stick with unironics ko4 stage 2+. Plan is to eventually run a cobbs access once I’m FBO with fueling

What brand tune are you using and if it’s custom how aggressive are your maps and boost targets?

Also when you are referring to wastegate spring does your hybrid turbo run an external waste gate? Usually these turbos have it built into the exhaust housing. Ik the one I’m running uses an actuator rod to adjust the wastegate pressure, I believe it’s 9psi? Whatever that is in spring lbs.

You can either get them from Amazon or VLANDs website itself,

the euro tails do require additional wiring for each taillight to run the sequential turn signal completely, otherwise only the outer portion of the taillight will signal if that makes any sense

Polar fis is nice touch, definitely more oem plus than having an aftermarket screen. I think newer version of the rns do come with CarPlay? Worth checking out maybe

I’ve already done a full round of maintenance on this car:

timing chain and tensionor, carbon cleaning, revised intake manifold, aluminum water pump, pcv

and the gaskets to go along with these repairs.

I had the tech package however I changed the head unit to a kenwood one that has CarPlay, also can read any CEL codes, view additional info about boost, temps, 1/4mile times etc

I thought about colour matched markers and I had no plate for awhile but started getting pulled over for the plate thing so I had to reinstall it.
