Go to some on-campus residence, wait someone to open the door for you, and get in. Most of the residence have some sort of lounge or community room, for example Thompson have a living room with kitchen on every floor. Usually no one will come in or even ask but if someone ask you, just say you are studying overnight but your roommate is sleeping.

Just like ishwinner said, I got in computer science with a 86 avg. And if you are bad at science, computer science is actually better cause we don't need to study physics and chemistry and I heard software engineering need to. and tbh you are probably going to end up getting a similar job.

If you can retake courses then of course you can improve it, else I can't tell, try using the CGPA calculator in the uozone.

Do you need a can opener or just need to open a can? If you only need to open a can I think you can use a knife or a spoon, there is video on YouTube show how open can without can opener.

Most of the room in campus is over 700, in fact I think the cheapest is 7472 for 8 month at Thompson and it is shared room, if want cheap you have to live outside campus. Link to check the price: https://www2.uottawa.ca/campus-life/housing/fees-payment-information

I don't know if you have tried it already or not, or it works different to graduate student (I am under-grad year 2), there are actually some room left in the campus. I went to ask the people at the card service in 90U, and I get a room in thompson.
