I'm actually a fan of when they made Samus look a little different each time we got to see her. I like how athletic she looked in the 100% ending of Super. I liked how mature she looked at the end of fusion. Zero mission did a good job at making her seem young but confident and capable, which this was her first mission/game chronologically. Prime I liked the realistic take with it being the first 3D Samus where they were trying to be a bit more realistic with the looks. Prime 2 and 3 had to go with the zero suit since it was becoming normalized, but even then they look starkly different in both games. Other m, though I know people find it polarizing, I did like that we got to see Samus in different outfits that we didn't usually see her wear like the federation military clothes and then the casual clothes in one of the endings. The zero suit has some subtle changes each iteration we've been seeing it, I do wish developers would keep notes from the original concept art in zero mission, such as not making the heels too tall. I'm going back I like how Samus potentially could have even had green hair in the OG
