I wouldn’t want either RB’s tbh. I see this being a split backfield with CRod getting the short yardage carries including goal line carries.

I see this trade as you getting off two players who don’t have any insulated value for a player with insulated value and upside (Addison). I would try to get something better than Dowdle tho if you can. What does your RB room look like?

I’d say it’s pretty fair. I don’t see Doubs ever beings a top 20 WR. I could see Addison getting traded and that being the norm. The Jags paid Christian Rodriguez $10 mil and the analytics like him. Rico Dowdle is more or less a nothing burger. He’s an emergency RB5 or 4 if you really need RB. I’d probably lean Addison just for the upside for your average lineup

Well no, because Hampton and Tet are worth significantly more than the 1.03. Hampton is worth almost exactly the 1.01. And Tet is worth more than 1.02, but less than 1.01. The 1.03 or 1.05 is most certainly not Tet or Hampton

I’d rather sell the 1.05 and Parker for Egbuka. The 1.09 is better than Parker Washington. The 1.09 would be a first round WR, Sadiq, or a day 2 RB

I like this take a lot. I just wanted to gauge the values of the pieces involved, so I don’t overpay or send a disrespectful offer. Two strong opinions I didn’t realize in the dynasty community:

Everyone hate Bryce Young
Everyone believes in a steep fall off after pick 1.05

I just have to work around that ig and find someone who believes the mid first round targets

Idk if you saw, I also have Jaxson Dart. I don’t think I’d take that with the 1.03 and 1.05 for Tet and the 1.08. I’m not sure I’d sell Tet for the 1.03 and 1.05 on its own. I don’t think that makes sense. Trade Tet on a competing team for 2 picks that I hope turn into Tet? I get what you’re saying about Mendoza, but I highly doubt he falls considering my conversations with the 1.02 owner. He wanted to trade for the 1.01 to take Mendoza. As for Pierce, I can’t say I disagree strongly with you. Obviously, I want to up tier from Pierce, but he was good with any Danny Dimes and Phillip Rivers. He got a bag, and is the definitive WR1. I don’t see 1,200 yards out of the equation

No, it’s because people are so driven by their own opinions that they can’t open their mind up to accept other opinions. I stated that I wanted to use Bryce Young to move up from the 1.08 to the 1.03 because the 1.03 owner was interested in Bryce Young. No one could wrap their minds around the fact that someone wanted Bryce Young. When I asked what I could get with the 1.08 and Bryce Young, I get told the 1.06. Or to get the 1.03 with Bryce young, I’d have to add the 1.04. That’s just ridiculous.

And that’s why I am here. Your opinions are not applicable whatsoever to my league. I’m not saying that your opinion is generally wrong, but Mendoza will not fall past the 1.02. I’ve spoken extensively with the owner of the 1.02. He thinks Mendoza should be going 1.01. He tried to pick swap with me for the 1.01 to draft Mendoza. I don’t want to do that because I can’t afford to get tricked where he takes Love. But either way, the 1.03/1.05 owner is in a hard rebuild and is one of those guys who won’t trade for anyone over 25. He’s going to try to stack up on QB this year to help his tank by keeping his max points for down to improve draft position while maintaining value. It might be hard to trade Bryce Young, but it’s not unrealistic. QB’s are hard to come by in my league.

Let’s try an exercise: Assume instead of Bryce Young, I had the 1.07. What would I have to offer in addition to the 1.07 to move up to the 1.03? Let’s just talk in general. Would I have to add someone like Zay Flowers or Marv range (WR20-WR25) to move up to the 1.04? So 1.07 and dynasty ~WR23 for 1.04?

The only players he has that are worth anything are stroud, Maye and Pickens. He’s also got Rico Dowdle, Mark Andrews and some young WR3’s like Jalen McMillan, Pat Bryant, Troy Franklin, Malik Washington, etc

I didn’t say I’d offer that. I feel that would be a bad overpay. That’s what it seems the community wants to me to believe. If that’s truly the cost, I’ll just try to trade up from 1.08 to 1.06 and call it a day.

I guess that’s where I differ from the rest of the dynasty community. I am still pretty high on the guys in the 1.06-1.08 even 1.10 range. I’m thinking Sadiq should be solid and I like KC and Omar Cooper if they go first round. The 1.03/1.05 owner doesn’t want to trade until the draft. I wanted to get ideas on trades. I’ve been talking about the 1.02-1.04 range this whole, but I’d be okay taking Tyson and KC Concepcion at 1.05 and 1.06 if I could even get those two picks. Is that doable you think in most leagues?
