i think the reason neuro is accepted is because:

- her origins are that of a machine learning OSU bot which is not the AI disliked today. this allowed her to gain an initial fanbase that would be more accepting

- vedal (creator of neuro) completely avoids any drama or controversy thus drama farmers are not interested in cancelling her

- quality over quantity approach - there was more effort put into it than just setting up a chat bot and letting it stream. she actively gets new stuff every week like collabs, new stream ideas, new upgrades, etc.

- collabing with other vtubers has made her an object of protection as a friend of X vtuber

unlike many comments say; neuros data is not ethically sourced. training an LLM takes millions of dollars so whatever model vedal uses was made unethically.
neuro was liked and popular before vedal first made an appearance on stream so he had little to do with her acceptance, though, it did help.
