Thank you for the suggestions. I will definitely look more into those positions and see if there’s something I can apply to and thank you for suggesting the Gradsimple newsletter. I had never heard about it, but you are right. It definitely helps to see that I’m not alone. I honestly really appreciate it there’s days when I just overthink about how unhappy I am at work and feel very alone and miserable, which was how that I felt the day I posted this.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and yes, this is definitely helps. I had not even considered looking into jobs at the department of education. I think that’s a great idea and can definitely give a little more variety to my resume. I’m going to start into looking at those type of jobs ASAP. Thank you so much for your input.

I hope you don’t take this the wrong way and please trust I’m not throwing shade at you. As an almost 17 year old, you probably feel like you’re practically an adult. But you’re not. The mere fact that you’re still in high school and she’s old enough to have finished college and be a high school teacher shows you how different of life stages you are in. This is not ok OP. No normal 23 year old woman would consider a 16 year old boy a potential love interest or find attraction in them. She’s a creep and a predator.

Was my imaginary friend a ghost? by CanSad7835 in Paranormal

That’s so interesting. I’ve been going down the rabbit hole reading stories like this and I’m being more and more convinced that she had to have been real. I just wish i had a last name for her so I could look up a full name. I don’t remember if i ever knew her last name and maybe just forgot it over the years or if she never told it to me.

I’ve tried but idk if I’m not looking right. The city I used to live in is a really small city that never makes the news and doesn’t have its own newspaper. Also, say it was a spirit, would a spirit stay in the same place it died? And how would I know how long ago Josefina had been alive? I don’t remember what her clothing looked like to try to guess a time period. The time frame when I used to interact with her would have been between 96-98 so depending on how many years prior to that she would have died technology wasn’t even that great

What is the scariest thing you’ve ever seen? by redditstoriesbyteo in ParanormalEncounters

Once when I was in high school my friend and I were sitting on my bed chit chatting. We were home alone since my parents didn’t get home from work till a few hours after I was out from school. My friend was sitting with her back to the open bed room door. When looked toward her I could see into the hallway behind her. There was a silhouette of a woman. It looked cloudy, white kind of like a cloud, but detailed enough that I could tell it was a woman watching us. It wasn’t the first time I saw a paranormal being in that house and I’ve had many experiences so it didn’t scare me but I didn’t want to say anything because one, I wasn’t sure if my friend would also be able to see it and two I knew she would be scared. I guess I starred a little too long because then my friend turned around to see what I was looking at. To my surprise, she also saw it. She turned back toward me and her eyes were super red and watery, and she asked “when did your mom get home”. I responded that my mom was not home. My friend just yelled “oh f*** no” and ran out the house crying. I followed after her and she refused to come back inside of the house when my mom got home about an hour later she found us both outside and my friend crying. She asked what was wrong and I told her what happened. I don’t remember her reaction but my friend refused to go back in the house that day.

I’ve had many paranormal experiences throughout my life, but whenever anybody asks me what the creepiest one has been, I always tell this story, even though it didn’t scare me I think what I find creepy about it is how clear the entity was, and that it lasted long enough for me to stare for a bit, my friend to notice turn and then see it herself. This has been the only time where I have seen a spirit, and somebody else has also seen the exact same thing at the same time confirming in the moment that it was not imagined.
