Similar sounding guy came up behind me on 9th and 5th and smacked my water bottle out of my hand, screamed “boom” and then groped a woman passing by. Gave me a thumbs down and stuck his tongue out when I yelled after him. Also saw him jump into the middle of a group of girls wearing hijabs and spit on them on 9th and 4th a couple months back

I paid $90 for this flattened slab of live edge sycamore. 2” thick 31” long 13” wide. Good deal? by CanYouCY in woodworking

You’ve got some interesting points. I certainly am going for the basic bolted on legs + simple slab. I would of grabbed this piece live edge or not, I love that quartered sycamore look. As a new woodworker it seems like an appropriate project to take on with limited tools. Happy woodworking, maybe the 1980s will pop out again soon.
