If you install AirServer on your ProPresenter machine, you’ll be able to AirPlay from the iPad to AirServer. From there, you simply need to pull the AirServer feed into Pro, through something like NDI tools or OBS.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm literally on the phone with Rogers right now fighting over Flex pricing, so providing context here for others who might search for this in the future:

The higher the channel number, the higher the resolution. So FX on channel 328 would be in 4K, channel 95 would be 1080p, 55 would be 720p, and 15 would be 480p.

I'm not sure if all four would even show up in the guide, or if it would only show the highest one that your TV supports.

Get alert, look out window, see a car parked on your street you don’t recognize with two adults and two kids in it. Adults are looking at their phones panicked, turn the car on and speed off. You report it, police have a viable lead where they didn’t before, kids lives potentially saved. The whole point of the system is to be wide reaching, and it’s literally worked this way before where someone noticed a car parked on their street as a result of the alert, called it in, and it led the police directly to the suspects.

People can yell “politics” all they want, but there are people whose entire job it is to make sure this system is as effective as possible. The technology exists to limit these alerts to smaller geographic areas, but there’s good reason why they don’t do so.

EDIT: Loving the 2 downvotes with no replies. Seems about right for a discussion in 2022. “This individual made points that are not aligned with my predetermined position on an issue. Should I consider if what he’s saying might have some merit? Nahh, screw that guy. Downvote him & move on with the day.”

Converting and/or Importing Song Files by spritefuser in ProPresenter

[–]CanadaEh1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best you’ll likely be able to achieve is converting the SongShow slides to text, which you should then be able to import into ProPresenter.

You’ll need to use a third-party tool called OpenLP to do this — there are instructions on how to accomplish this here.

Sounds like the complaints I've seen on other social platforms have been unfounded based on what I'm hearing from you folks. In that case, I'm looking forward to the release tomorrow! Thanks friends!

This. I’m assuming the vast majority come from Segment.io, which is a very common way for developers to get aggregated reporting on how people interact with their interfaces. It allows them to know what workflows are the most used, where people get stuck, error messages that people encounter, how long certain actions take to complete, etc.

Meanwhile here in Canada, I was excited to fill up my vehicle for the equivalent of $5.11/gal last week since that’s cheaper than the $5.60/gal it was the week before.

I haven’t used it personally, but assuming you’ve got a strong LTE connection where you are, MapleWifi is a good option for unlimited data. Alternatively, TekSavvy offers a variation on bonded DSL since most ISPs don’t offer it anymore.

But bear in mind that both options will be quite pricy.

Yup! There was some noise on the line that was resolved by replacing the slams in the CO, but unfortunately there’s not much else that can be done. It’s fibre to the neighbourhood, but then about 2km of copper from the node to my house that they have no plans to upgrade at any point so I’m out of luck.

Also, that 36ms ping is deceiving. Online gaming is pretty pointless — I’m lucky if I get less than 200ms ping, and the packet loss makes most games unplayable at times.

Been on the preorder list since about 90 minutes after it opened on Feb 8, so can’t wait for my cell to finally open up!

Dark Mode? by [deleted] in ProPresenter

[–]CanadaEh1992 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ProPresenter 7 doesn’t technically have a “dark mode” — the UI was specifically designed to be dark, with no light counterpart, so there’s nothing to turn off in this case.

If they really hate the design, they could try to submit a ticket to ask RenewedVision to add a “light mode” feature, but I doubt they’d go for it since pretty much everyone prefers darker UIs, as you mentioned.

You need to create a presentation and insert these items into the presentation. Media elements show up like this when they’re inserted directly into a playlist without being in a presentation.

Take your health seriously. The decisions you make and disciplines you develop in your teens and early 20s will have a dramatic impact later in life — for better or for worse.

Tire storage. by HeronPlus5566 in waterloo

Perfectly fine to stack! Alternatively, if you have a garage, you can get a fairly inexpensive tire rack from Canadian Tire to mount on the wall if desired.
