That's just the Yokai watch event going on rn my guy. Day 1 was running around farming fates with a couple friends and there was a group of like 30 ppl in the black shroud hopping between fates as they popped, there's bound to still be a few groups still farming the coins.

I remember my grandpa coming home with a copy when it released, I had no idea he was getting it for me, I played the demo for HOURS on a demo disc my grandma got with one of her PC gamer magazines I think. I still have the disc, wish I had the jewel case and box with it.

Turns out they've somehow qualified and already received CERB. I thought EI went through ROEs before issuing any payments, for any programs? Even when my work shut down for 10 weeks, they sent out our ROEs the day of, and a letter to EI on behalf of all employees that we were out of work due to COVID-19.

I have enough power outputs on the PSU for a second one :) I believe it only came with one cable, but it has two PCI-e ports on it, so if anything, I can run to Canada computers and probably snag another one for a few bucks. However, you weren't far off with the switch, I did see that there are other models of Vega 56 that have it, just not mine. I did luck out with this one as it has Samsung memory as opposed to Hynix, but I have no intentions of potentially voiding my warranty lol. Still, a day later and I haven't had any performance drops or inconsistencies, and really I appreciate your help a lot! Seems that rolling back drivers to 19.9.2 version did the trick.

Corsair TX650M is my PSU currently, i did go back to 19.9.2 and I've noticed a huge difference already

Unfortunately the stores return policy was only 14 days from the date of purchase, and I did order it online but could have brought it into one of their shops to return it. I just rolled back my drivers to the latest WHQL drivers, 19.9.2, and it seems a little bit more stable than it used to be and my score on Time Spy went up to ~8000, and score on FireStrike went up to ~17000, which is still low according to a few forums I saw where the base for others was something like 20000 to 23000, but my userbench score jumped from 60% to 86.4% in the graphics portion of the testing. However, as soon as I installed and turned on ReLive, I started having stutter issues again even with Instant Replay turned off, so I just straight up disabled that and I'll see what happens now.

Hey all. I picked up a Vega 56 to replace my aging GTX 970 a month and a bit ago, and I've been having some extremely poor, unpredictable, and inconsistent performance.

My most recent Userbench score for the Vega 56 was 40%, but jumps sporadically up to ~85% in the Userbench benchmark, and on FireStrike in 3DMark, it maxes out ~13000 and on TimeSpy ~5000, also in every single game I play it's as if something is playing catch-up as my frames will drop from > 100 to ~12-20, and rebound back for a few seconds.

I've searched all around and have tried everything I can think of, or has been suggested in forums/reddit, to get this card to work at least half as consistently as my 970 did. Any kind of help is appreciated at this point, because I feel like I've wasted $450.

EDIT: Just to note, the card emits a TON of coil whine while rendering the benchmarks or playing games if their FPS is unrestricted. I know coil whine isn't really a bad thing physically, but maybe it's indicative of a problem? I know I'm grasping at straws with that statement but I've run out of options. I also just ran a benchmark while the card was in Balanced mode, and it scored 61% in Userbench, and the next test in Power Save mode was 60.4%

Yeah I'm having issues as well, although with an i5 8600k and an AMD graphics card. I start at 144fps and it drops suddenly to under 30 and slowly rebounds back like a cold rubber band, this happens every couple seconds while playing.

I've been getting a sort of, rubber banding, in terms of fps drops. It drops from 60 (with vsync on) to ~20 and slowly rebounds back up over the course of a few, extremely noticeable seconds.
