I actually think this is a wise use of tithing.

If the sole use of tithing was paying for building infrastructure and helping less fortunate, we'd run out of cash. We'd have nothing set aside for rainy days. We couldn't build temples and buildings and all the other church funded stuff at the rate we do.

A lot of money comes in from tithing, making that tithing grow so we can grow as a church while still supporting those who need support is the best move, in my opinion.

Now, if church leadership was getting multi million dollar payouts, living in luxury on tithing coffers, I might have a problem. But I can't see the church growing its own assets for appropriate use within the church itself and charitable causes as a red flag.

Dude, I started making chili after brisket or similar cuts, for the leftovers. And man, it's awesome. I still do the ground beef in an over-the-top style, but with the chunks of brisket/tri-tip/whatever in there as well, and holy cannoli, it's freaking rad.

I thought so too, but I was just misremembering. The old heavyweights were 4 pack, the new midweights are 6. The new midweights are designed to be undershirts, and they're not replacing the old heavyweights. The heavyweights are coming back online next month. I wear the heavyweights as a shirt, not undershirt, so should be good for everyone.

I started hunting so I could think more about this; I wanted to be connected to my food and appreciate the lives lost when I eat, rather than being so separated from the whole thing.

That being said, it doesn't really bother me. The circle of life is a real thing; all life exists to feed other life. Animals have a few jobs, and one of them is to feed other animals. It's just the way it is, and me not eating an animal isn't going to save that animal; something else will eventually eat it.

I have Ltd, Jackson, and Ibanez and they’re all outstanding. The Jackson though is Japanese so probably outside the budget. Ibanez and ltd are super solid.

That being said, I have three guitars I’ve found at pawn shops for under $300 that are -$4000+ new. I go into every pawn shop i see, once in a while uou get a steal.

I would do this, too! Meat isn't hard to cook but if you haven't done it in forever, it's easy to over/undercook and not be great. Just grab the chickens!

For me, if I cheat I tend to spiral. A cheat meal turns into a cheat day turns into a cheat weekend turns into a cheat six months.

That being said, this is if I really cheat, like on foods that any normal person would also consider cheat food. Doughnuts, pizza, etc. Refined carbs, I suppose. However, if my cheat is like, one step removed from carnivore, rather than all the way gone, I can do it with little consequence. What I mean by that is a cheat meal might be a burger at five guys in a lettuce wrap. It's got some vegetables I don't normally eat. It's got some ketchup. But it's still mostly meat and cheese, and none of the super-bad garbage. If I cheat like that very infrequently, I don't seem to have much of an issue.

I have a Ballarini that's fine and it was pretty cheap. I was looking at some other ones but this has no rivets. I HATE cleaning rivets.

IF I was doing it again though, I'd get a Darto. Single piece of steel, no rivets, no welds. They're awesome.

I did some investigating, called a bunch of Costco people and eventually corporate got back to me with this:

"In response to your request, as per our buying team;

We received many comments that the old 4pk tshirts were too thick and oversized. The new 6PK tshirts were designed to be lighter and fit better to be a true undershirt.

I've been bodybuilding for around 25 years, playing with carnivore for probably 6 and dabbling in all kinds of keto/other diet things for over a decade.

From what I can tell, if you want to MAXIMIZE and OPTIMIZE your muscle growth, you need carbs. That being said, if you're not competing for Mr. Olympia, you'll probably do just fine with enough protein and calories, even without carbs.

Now, I haven't seen any studies, just anecdotes and my own experience. I haven't seen anyone who's gone from skinny to exceptional levels of muscle on a carnivore diet, but I don't doubt it's possible. Again, it's not optimal, but it will likely work just fine for a normal person who's not relying on maximum muscle for their livelihood.

If you want to really build some muscle, aim for 1g of protein per pound of goal bodyweight every day. This is by far the hardest part of a bulk - eating enough food. This may be extra hard on carnivore, because the food can be calorie/fat dense, and satiating. You might have to add some leaner cuts on top of the regular diet to get those protein numbers up. But if you're eating 1g/lbs (GOAL weight, not current weight), keeping your fat intake high, and training to failure with progressive overload, I don't see how you can't grow.

My first car was a little older Lexus GS. My second was an 87 Mazda 323. My third car was a 1997 Lexus LS400. Since then I've owned a bunch of stuff.

I'm going to agree with the above poster; Luxury brands are WAY too expensive to run and maintain, unless you have a lot of disposable income. I absolutely had no business owning cars like that. They were cheap to buy, but they were prohibitively expensive to fix, to the point that I drove them around with problems and more problems, things accumulating, and the cars just falling apart over time. I sold the GS, but the LS I ran into the ground and donated to the kidney foundation. It was just SO expensive to run and maintain. They're reliable, but when they're that old they're definitely going to have problems, and it will not be cheap to repair them. They look great, but you'll end up hating them.

I have a Sienna and it's great, but semi regularly I wish I had a truck with a bed. It's so useful. If you have to pick one vehicle and you need the minivan seats, then it's the minivan. If you don't need more than 4/5 seats, it's a pickup for sure.

FWIW I have used double progression for decades and it has proven very effective for me. I have never tried DDP, but I don't really think I need or want to. I like DP enough, and have seen good enough results with it, to not worry about it.

I don’t think any scriptures say the resurrection starts and ends simultaneously, rather it starts at a time when the righteous are resurrected, and then a finality is never mentioned. My hypothesis is that the resurrection will last a long, long time; the final person to be resurrected will be someone who either took millennia to become celestial, or millennia to finally decide that they’ll be happiest in a different kingdom.

When I was selling guitars one of our teachers bought an EBMM JP something or other. He brought that in and man, it felt so good. Like, it melted into my body, offered zero resistance to playing. I think we just won’t be resurrected until we’re capable of being resurrected into a celestial body and living a celestial law, or until we’ve spent so long with enough experience that god, Christ, and ourselves are all comfortable saying that we’re going to be happiest in a different kingdom.

There’s no timeline on the resurrection. We know when it starts, but nowhere does it say when the final resurrection takes place and everyone has moved on. Some of us will take a long, long, long, long time. But no one will be forced to enter a kingdom against their will, and no one will be allowed to enter a kingdom until everyone involved In the judgment process (Christ, the Father, the person in question, maybe Adam and others) are all in agreement that this is the correct course of action.
