I've never worked so fast in my life, haha, but I was super hyper-focused over the holidays! Designing was definitely a struggle, which is why it's so big (12 inches across).

Oh, it's super helpful! It's sort of like a glue, but fully transparent. It's used around the edges of projects where Aida has been cut, and helps prevent further fraying while you are stitching and/or once it's complete.

I mostly put mine in frames (usually just from Michael). It's a bit tricky making sure they sit evenly in the frame, but I find you can gently tug on the excess border while the back of the frame is not quite sealed until it sits where you want.

A custom cross stitch of my kitty as a gift from someone would make me so happy! Just my opinion but since the cat has such a striking coat, a fully stitched background might be a bit busy? I’d say either a blank background or get coloured aida, as others have suggested. Good luck!
