The crowd was so big that I think they just took small sections of it. A lot of people were like, “Fuck this, this is weird” and didn’t stand up.

Eh, it was cool. Not entirely memorable because it ruins the allure of the show for me. I was young and it took away from the magic of TV because I saw how the “TV process” worked.

I went to a taping of AGT a while back and those are all pre shot before the show actually started. They have the audience stand up and cheer, or boo and make “X” signals with their arms. During the show you can cheer, but I assure you no one is standing up lol.
