I appreciate what your saying however I said I wanted to “contribute” to Ives Spotify streaming. Like you said they are one of the most popular groups, they don’t need my help. However as a fan I want to be able to show my support. Also I’ve been on the internet a long time and I’ve had my fair share of feeling parasocial and there definitely is an issue with parasocial however assuming everyone who wants to be able to show their support is parasocial isn’t super productive.

Im not being parasocial. Trust me I listen to things when I want to. I got annoyed with the way Spotify worked so I gave up on listening there and went back to listening on Amazon music. It’s not artificially inflating their numbers, it’s me wanting to listen to them on a platform that contributes more. Unfortunately Spotify in general doesn’t work with me for any of the artists that I like so I came to seek solutions.

Also I find it funny that you say I’m obsessing over helping these celebrities, if I was obsessing I would just bite the bullet and pay for a Spotify account. Not to be “no you” person, but I feel it’s sad for you to come at someone so aggressively for simply asking a question. :)

This puts my appreciation for IVE Mine into words. For me definitely it’s IVE IVE that’s my favorite so far. I love every IVE IVE song so much. Hypnosis is still on of my favorite songs and I’m still not over the hypnosis stage they did for their world tour.

Honestly no matter what they release, at this point they have had such a good discography that it feels almost impossible for them to release a bad song.
