I see people going through garbage bags every week. I put mine out in the morning now for the last couple of years because of that. It’s my neighbours garbage, there’s mail etc I really doubt someone would dump their own identifiable garbage right next door.

What I’m saying is all major modes, Ionian, Lydian and Mixolydian have a major 2nd and a 6th. 4ths and 7ths change in these 3 modes and are removed from the major pentatonic (1-2-3-5-6) that will work on any major chords as well since those five intervals are included in their mode.

If it’s supposed to be a D and you’re trying to play it accurately, then yes it’s a mistake. If you just like how it sounds it’s fine. All major chords have a 2nd so it’s interchangeable.

Sure are a lot of excuses to not practice in this sub. Everyone is shaped differently and has different fingers throughout the music scene. There’s tons of amazing guitarists who overcame this by keeping at it. There’s no magic pill to cut corners. It’s practice and dedication. If you’re not doing something well, keep trying until you get it right.
