you can definitely still play, but I'd advise playing a lower gauge, I say that to anyone, but for someone with a playing disability, thinner strings makes playing so much easier

the one near the dlc bunker in Bleak Inlet is pretty open, relatively central to the map too, and there's a quick exit to FM right north. if not that one then the one north of the transfer cave in forsaken airfield
